and a couple hours later, it updated as "delivered". i was able to pick it up successfully. All in all, this was easier than any Target or Walgreens exclusive, so i can't complaint

Yes. its like other retailers, like Target, Walmart, etc. They have their own SKU, but show up to stores under the assortment SKU, so it actually has a spot on the shelf without constant planogram changes.

 

Anyone found these in Texas yet? Missed the preorder window and it said not in stock anywhere around me regardless of the TX zip code I used. Seems a bit odd.

 

They seem to be hitting the Austin area now. I just picked up 2 (the only ones they had) at the Walgreens at: 3921 W Parmer Ln, Austin, TX 78727.

That was after hitting up 2 others in the area and coming up short.

Keep your eyes open!

 

Sounds about right. Single character deluxe cases have 8 figures. So even if the store only received 1 case, there's 8 chances to get one.

 

Mine still hasn't shipped. It just has the "shipment info sent to Fedex" status. Anyone else having this issue?

EDIT: Aaand literally 10 minutes after I posted this I got an e-mail saying it's been picked up and will be delivered in a few days. Whew!

Got mine today! I see the misalignment people were talking about. On my copy it's not that much. Though the red things on the side of his legs keep falling out (they don't on my Smokescreen)

Walgreens ship to store isn't really clear. I never got an email it arrived and the tracking information showed it was on the Truck, then at a Fedex facility again. I thought it was being sent back. I called Fedex and the CSR said that it was delivered to the store. Apparently at Fedex Facility after getting on the truck can also mean it's at Walgreen's since that is considered a Fedex Facililty.

 

Forgot which youtuber it was, but they mentioned that Smokescreen and Bluestreak were manufactured on the same run, so they both have that messed up roof. While Prowl was on a completely different production run and doesn't have that issue.

Also, in the Smokescreen review thread, somebody mentioned the issue can be fixed/improved by applying heat/using hairdryer for this mold:

 

My bluestreak from robotkingdom doesn’t have that issue so that youtuber, like most, is probably not the best source for that sort of information

 

Walgreens stores don't typically receive full cases of Deluxes; the cases are broken up at distribution centers and they send an amount to each store based on the amount of figures in the assortment that they already have. That store probably got 8 because it didn't have any Deluxes in stock when that area's Bluestreaks went out.

Got mine today, Great bot mode. Alt mode makes me frustrated with how the tabs don't want to work, spend 5 minutes getting things flush but the roof is another story. gotta love qc man...

 

The QC is so amazing I want that person to get a raise, if there is a person at least  

 

Same. Received my pair today in a nice big box with both individually bubble wrapped and surrounded by air packets. Walgreens did an excellent job and shipped incredibly fast.

Oh, and Streak looks pretty darn good.
