They're complimentary lines for sure, and I don't honestly expect any crossover (as in characters that have been done in WFC getting redone in SS86), they're meant to go together but the lines themselves won't be merging

Slag is confirmed Leader, no word on the others but safe to assume Leaders for Snarl and SLudge, MAYBE Leader for Swoop but he could get away with large Voyager I think

 

At least the mistransformations have largely disappeared from where it counts most, the actual packaging art, by nature of them using the CGI images now.

Meanwhile, I'm here shaking my head at MP Tigatron's front cover art, where they decided to use one of the most unflattering angles of his tiger mode (outside of a straight-up ass or underbelly shot), where it's slightly mistransformed as well (his flanks aren't snapped down).

 

Ideally they all have the same height in robot mode, with Swoop being thinner and lighter as a tall voyager with a flyer alt mode. And hopefully all the Dinobots have pack-in figures: such as Spike and Daniel, each with and without exosuits!

 

I suggest Kranix as one of the figures to be packed with the Dinobots

This was my first thought when I saw that Kup comes apart and is absolutely my plan whenever I get him in hand

Minor wrench here in that the Weaponizers disassemble such that it leaves a 5mm peg behind as the attachment point. Kup disassembles the opposite way, with the limbs having the peg holes, and the body retaining the pegs. Means you'll probably need an adapter for most of the arm connections, at least. He can absolutely swap legs with the Weaponizers, though.

 

If Swoop is a Voyager they might skip giving him a mini figure to go with him. Though maybe he could come with Grimlock’s missing sword and probably whatever gun or sword the other Dinobots are missing?

 

He does use it in season 3 though.

I feel like we're getting a Devastator in this line, if so that would be great. I can't think of any other "Titan" or combiner that was in the movie.

 

Studio Series doesn't have a titan size class. This year's titan is in Kingdom and it's the Ark

 

I believe they’re reissuing CW Devastator. That just leaves Blitzwing and the Insecticons

Then I just need Buzzsaw and my season 1 and 2 Decepticons lineup will be complete!
