    As per my earlier post I sourced Gen Toys Megatron from TaoBao for about US$66 plus shipping. Total cost was under US$80. There’ll be a few more around on that site I’m sure if you look for them. It’s probably a steep learning curve if you’ve never done it before but worth looking at for the longterm savings. Of course, given the state of affairs in China at the moment, you’ll struggle to get much action through TaoBao or even eBay.

    I had trouble pulling my stand apart. I got the secondary strut off by jamming a pair of mechanical pencils to dislodge the inner tabs, but I can't get the main strut off to pack it up. I tried using a pocket knife, but no dice. Any tips for disassembling the stand without breaking it?

    Alright so i still love this megatron. But can someone please reach out to GT or anybody talented enough to make the wings like cappuccino fury (kuro kura furai or whatever) is sporting? That looks awesome and i think it would make tyrant bomber look even more menacing. Maybe the wings can transform into a bomb strapped underneath the alt mode or something.

    That would be awesome. Also wielding double-bladed blasters on each arm would be splendid.

    My only real gripe about this figure are the two little winglets that don't really go anywhere in the back, but other than that it's a 9.5/10

    I love this figure. Kuro Kara Kuri won’t dethrone him, but I’ll display him in his exellent altmode more often.

    If you want to give him wings you should be able to make some out of any Nova Prime’s. That sort of works for Legends Bomber Megs.
