Really weird, but I've used Instocktrades for all my TPB/HC shopping since 2013.

They release books 3pm EST every Tues for the week.

Ever since COVID, the buying window timing for getting some books is getting crazy. This week's Wolverine Omni New printing sold out quick. The DM cover sold out in like 30min and standard cover sold out later that day. Cloak and Dagger Omni's DM cover sold out in hours. That's never happened with Marvel books. Usually sits there at least for a week.

 

The part where a customer bought $500 worth of multiple gift cards to give out to random kids for use, was heartwarming.

 

It'll be interesting to see how the sales reporting shifts long term. These reports aren't as useful without DC included.

 

The general trend has been less open data about sales/profitability on media across TV and movies, and comic books have exactly been that open. Despite what people think, no one has really known what’s selling or not conclusively in a while. And what is successful or not has definitely changed.

That’s a long way to basically shrug my shoulders at the news.
