You could have saved yourself some time, and positioned it on the front, to cut out some of the many supports...

Also, I forgot you had plans for that! I look forward to seeing progress! I'm resuming mine, this year, actually. I've decided on making it a custom paint thing, because MAN those G2 CW figures are expensive..

    Hello Jason,

I thought the job you did on this was excellent along with the adaptor to accommodate UT Vortex for the left arm.

In fact your overall journey into 3d printing and the results shows how far you have come. Quite inspirational for others.

Could I ask which paint you used to colour match the feet with the lower legs?

    Thank you for your help.

    Steve

Wow, I barely remember this thread! lol... so, I recall using Krylon Fusion All in One brand spray paints specifically, but can't remember the exact colors I used. If you go on their website, you can check out their full color palette and find the options that work closest. I actually want to look for those colors myself again to spray paint my current Bruticus custom's feet. =)

Haha- been a while since someone posted to this thread.

    Thank you for your reply.

I’m guessing these colours match the closest to the limbs...quite difficult under light and the paint can dry differently as well...

The match for the right foot might need to take from the yellow colour palette?

Did you use the same brand on the head and thighs/waist/hips?

How'd you make the two bot torso for Leokaiser? Can you take pics of the frame used? Looks like the Core bot is still part of the set too right?

@ultraman zoffy - I’ve printed up the set from Cults3d to go on Jinbao OS Warbotron.

I know the replacement head attaches to the cults3d set but how did you remove the original head from the Jinbao figure?

I initially thought removing the two screws would allow the removal of the whole head piece sat on the blue base as shown below:

The dark grey plastic plate doesn’t want to come off the blue section in the photo below:

    How did you do it?

The set is designed to just have the original head folded up and stored the same way it is in truck mode. I have 2 sets of Jinbao Warbo though, so on the one I keep in combined mode only, I just basically cut the entire head/panel assembly off permanently. It is a dumb design in that it can't easily be removed.

    Good morning.

That’s a bummer. I was hopeful I could remove the head without muellering it permanently.

Then again it’s not like I’m going to display the team in individual bots.

Thanks for letting me know what you did.
