For that price I'll wait for a Pose+ Gordian. Their Baikanfu looks much better than this.

I'm conflicted about Gordian. Posability seems good considering everything it has to do, but the proportions feel a bit off and the price is high.

Regarding the proportions, I think it’s the way it is posed. I remembered when images of gx-88 first appeared it looked like crap but in hand it is awesome.

Here’s a couple older images. The proportions look a lot better. Hopefully we get better images soon.

More Dragonar! While I still believe the Max Factory Max Gokin had the best proportions of any Dragonar because it was based on Masami Obari's one illustration out of a magazine, the build quality on it was mixed at best. While the Hi-metal's proportions are still fatter than I'd like it does have a pretty good balance of proportions. I spy T-REX's involvement with this guy too so I might have to pick this up.

Well, just going to wait and see what he goes for on AJ. Though now that they are charging sales tax... I might consider NY. or another e-tailer. The only thing is I wonder if Air Mail service will be restored to the 'States by then.

Also got charged for 'Trider on AJ, so hoping to have him by next week. So far was charged 299, and have not seen the currency exchange fee.. Yen is continuing to go up... les sigh.

If I didn't have two copies of Trider already I would have preordered the R version. I am just gonna wait to see if AJ drops some more. $40 just for shipping. The days of cheap shipping from AJ is over.

For Gordian, I am going to see what the prices are between JP vs US. I don't think Gordian was popular in the US. Even the Voltrons were readily available when preorders went up. I think AJ will throw in the 20% discount but the consumer tax and US state sales tax will mostly cancel each other with a slight discount but then you have to factor in shipping.

The only advantage with AJ is the arrival time. You would have to pay twice as much at an e-tailer to get that stuff a quickly as DHL does for AJ. If air mail isn't restored, International Ferry is an option, often cheaper than air-mail but that is a wait. It took two months from leaving port in Japan, then another two weeks via the postal service.

The engineering on those nesting figures looks absolutely nuts. It’s a miracle they can get them to work at all.

Well, I love SoC GaoGaiGar. If I could afford it I would have liked to buy it new, but his joints aren't too bad. I'll probably never use the Dividing Driver though, regardless of how much I love it.

If I were a bigger Gundam fan, I'd be all over that. It looks like an F.A. Chogokin with all of that articulation. Sweet paint job too.

They have yet to top OG RX-78 still the best and represents what the brand is about. No fucking angel wings and no fucking unicorns.

Agree. This looks great but not sure I need it on top of the GFFMC version I got. Only series that will break me is G-Gundam if they ever do those in some high end form.
