Likely because the UM one didn't sell all that well. Walmart had to clearance it out.

 

I can deal with delays, but what's the point of a pre-order if you're going to cancel my order before the item even releases, and you even know how much stock you'll actually have?

 

I really hope that there are a ton of these in stores in a few weeks for everyone to get them easily. I have no faith in Walmart delivering any of my pre-orders.

Pre-order two Elita-1s, then return the one at the store when you get them?

Yeah Walmart canceled my Elita 1, but then I clicked on the item listing she was available for preorder again. WTF?!

So I just preordered again, but have to pay shipping again. Whatever at this point. Just get it to me.

 

I contacted CS to get them waive the shipping fee on my cancelled E1 since it was apart of an order with Prime and Bee (still not cancelled, knock on wood). YMMV

 

I had literally that exact same experience with my Doubledealer preorder. I think the problem is that when the item shifts from "pre-order" to "in stock" on their website, there must be an intermediate step where it goes to "out of stock". Then the system cancels any preorders because it shows no stock available. But then it shows available for purchase on the site, because the system moved it to "in-stock". That's the only thing which makes sense based on what I experienced and what they told me after several phone calls.

 

Except that's not what happens because not all preorders have gotten canceled. Mine for Bumblebee, Elita, Optimus and Soundwave were day 1 preorders and haven't seen any cancelations yet

 

If my Soundwave gets canceled there's gonna be a whole bunch of unopened cassette bots going up for sale. I have no need of the ugly little buggers if I don't get their daddy.

 

Or you could just wait until he shows up in retail. This thread's gone over the fact that we've pretty much gotta rely on the retail releases rather than the online pre-orders at this point.

 

I missed preordering him on Walmart.com but it feels like it wouldn’t matter even if I succeeded. I was able to place a stack preorder at TFSource for an inflated price but I fully expect to find one instore first and cancel it.

 

Nope. Had to fight my gag reflex ordering online. No way I'm walking into a Walmart mid pandemic.

 

@Pixelmaster this is porbably a no, but have you seen Deep cover yet? If so does it looks like he's got both the missle launcher and the gun like Tigertrack does? Also, there any word of a Calmpdown coming down the line, feels like he's the only lambo repaint that hasn't happened yet

That probably means that they're not that far away from release. Iirc that image is the same as the side of the Optimus Voyager 3 pack.
