I just snagged one of these on eBay for $105 shipped from a US Seller. Had $30 eBucks so only cost me $75 total. So stoked to get this guy!

Just curious how he looks with PE Leonidas? I don't have any beast formers, but thought those two would look great displayed together if Starscream doesn't just totally tower over Leonidas. I know there's a couple pics of the two here in this thread, but in both, Starscream is hovering on his stand. Anyone have just a straight on, neutral pose of both standing side by side?

Just got this guy today. Slowest shipping ever from a US shipper. Guy waited a week to drop it in the mail, then sent it Parcel Select even though he charged me for Priority, which took another week to get here. So. Two weeks total, but he's here and I love him. The knees in mine seem a bit weak, but I actually plan to use the stand for him, even in not mode since he's so big.

I kept going back and forth on him due to size, but I think he will look really good with the rest of my T Beast inspired figures

From pictures I've seen, he works well with them. But even as a stand-alone (which is not usually a reason I tend to buy) he's just awesome in robot mode.

I bought mine as a stand-alone, since I don't collect the T-Beast. Most of mine are G1 style, with the exception of Red Falcon and Nicee.

Although I am considering Leonidas, but not sure I want to shell out the money for him. He's just so much smaller than Red Falcon.

I've been debating as well. I have most of the TBeast releases, so think this guy would go great. But so dam big that dunno how it will fit or if I have the space.

Also some of the feedback on plastic quality being a bit less than optimal has me a bit on the fence. I definitely feel this is a figure for niche collectors, so probably not that great of a resale value if I change my mind down the road....

Price is nice at $105 at Show z. May as well get it brand new from them.

    Rubadubspawn,
The plastic is fine. It's comparable to Perfect Effect's current plastics.

Size wise. It's in scale with PE's Gorira and Doragon molds. Possibly with the other T-Beast figures that are out.

This guy just arrived with me, and I am super impressed with him. Just one question - Is it possible to remove/change the batteries on him? The chest section looks like they are stuck in there.

Nope! You get one permanent battery, and once it runs out, no more light-up chest! :D

Seriously--I haven't tried taking mine out since it looks like it still has plenty of life. But looking at it....yeah, there's a drop of what looks like hot-glue on the lower part of the chipboard on mine--right over the clear socket it all goes into. Otherwise, it almost feels like you could just grab it by the switch and slowly work the hole thing out? I don't know if that glue is for wiring or for holding that in better. Anyone else have ideas?

I got mine from ShowZ. For me, it's not the plastic I'm concerned about so much as some of the joints - particularly the stupid little ball joints used to fold the top parts of the wings away, the ones on the blue wings that fold onto the legs in robot mode and the one on that small swivelling piece of plastic that covers the face in bird mode. I would definitely not have used those kinds of joints there.

This figure doesn't really have a place in my collection, I generally don't like beast modes, and I'm not even a huge fan of Starscream, but DAYAM this is an awesome piece. I love the head sculpt, too. Fantastic take on Screamer.

I am more worried about the battery leaking. Who knows how long this guy has sat in his box before getting to me, and most of my TFs stay in storage and the display is rotated out. It just seems like the battery, circuit and led are all now fused into one piece in the chest, but I will need to remove it at some point before he goes back in his box.
