If I actually want a review of a figure; it's plusses and minuses, good and bad, I go with Peaugh or Ben's Collectibles.

I love Thew's videos, but they aren't so much "reviews" as much as "here's Thew talking about robits for 10 minutes, which I am there for!

I can not stand anyone who tries to be clever or witty with their videos. Emgo, Vangelus, Optibotimus all fall into this category for me.

And Baltmatrix' videos SUUUUUUUUUUUUCK and he needs to stop. If EVERY figure is THE BEST FIGURE EVER (except for SS TF1 BB, his video for that where he freaks out is gold) then your "reviews" are worthless.

Emgo. The guys keeps it fun. He doesn't take things too seriously, unless it's something really egregious. Watching his reviews are what helped remind me that these are just toys after all. They're meant to be fun. If I ever stop enjoying it, I'll know it's time to re-evaluate myself.

 

If I order a figure and I'm waiting for it, I'll watch every review of it lol.

I like Baltmatrix. His videos are super high quality, and he's concise.

 

Not odd at all. I actually forgot to mention them on my list as well because they have put up a few reviews of TFs that have yet to be released elsewhere. I saw earlier they have a video review and comparison of the upcoming SS Devastator box set.

 

It's an onomatopoeia. Like when a magician pulls a rabbit out his had and goes 'ta-da'. That's the Japanese equivalent. A sound effect. Like if you hear him say Jung Jung! That is like Ta-da in the literal sense.

My pet peeve though is that it's always one way, and sometimes I need to see the reversed transformation as he always go from vehicle to robot.. they arrive in package in robot mode, so why would I want to start transforming from the alt mode. Trouble is.. most reviewer do the same freaking thing.

I'll settle on whoever if it's a figure that he didn't do, but I'll move on to the next video if the video sucks or you keep rambling, or didn't do your homework and can't even transform it correctly or easily.

I will avoid any wannabee that keeps going in threads and forums and facebook groups to plead people to subscribe... sorry but those can go to hell. If you're unable to stand with your reviews to get numbers because you make good reviews, and have to try and guilt or push your reviews like that.. you're just pissing me off.

 

I do enjoy Paik4life he most of the time will transform it back and forth and that’s one hell of a service to us.

 

Sorry all but shutting this down. In recent months we’ve removed discussion about toy reviewers as it’s become a distraction from toy discussion. In some threads there were insults thrown about and some of the reviewers are fellow members here.

We don’t want this site being used as a venue for reviewers to take on their criticizers and vice versa.
