Just remove the plastic from the figures too and give instructions on how to make them yourself out of nearby raw materials

I like the packaging change. Looks like Hasbro is going to get rid of the plastic holder insertsand just ziptie the figures to the cardboard stands. That should be fine. I wonder if / how they\'ll ever be able to eliminate the window though, which (along with the ties) would be the last packaging on the plastic. Maybe some cellulose replacement?

It\'s wild how, 35 years later, we\'re basically back to G1-style packaging without the styrofoam. It\'s funny how, almost exactly in the middle of that journey, was the Armada / Energon Packaging, which was an environmental and customer nightmare (seriously, how DID that happen?)

Paper twist ties could easily replace the plastic ones.

Hasbro sure likes their anniversaries and nostalgia!

I really like the new packages. I love the larger package art even though it obscures more of the toy inside. I even applaud Hasbro doing away with that plastic inner tray. I would say they could get rid of the plastic window but playing devil's advocate I have never been fond of the open air packages like the larger Cyberverse figures since you don't know how many people have handled it or removed parts from it. I would rather have fully enclosed boxes but drawback there is not seeing if the figure has any blemishes or has been a victim of a fraudulent repack.

Hasbro did paper ties for a while. Maybe around 10 years ago now? I can't remember. They were definetly more involved though and used (I think) plastic brackets on the backside of whatever was holding him in place.

The ABSOLUTE WORST was the wire ties. Lord knows how that was ever figured to be a a good idea.

I honestly don't know why the plastic tag ties didn't come sooner. They're the best.

Yup, there are several options for bioplastics these days. Sugar cane is just one example of something that can be used to make a plastic substitute. At the very least many companies are using a mixed plastic to reduce the use of petroleum.

Maybe the asteroid that wiped out the Dinosaurs was a freight liner, going back in time to end the war before it even started...

I always pull that plastic window off the cardboard, it's pretty easy and is negligible effort on my part. This is coming from someone who likely wouldn't recycle if we had to separate our recycling here.

Can we all agree that the ever-expanding lore of the T-rex/Frieghtliner war needs to be adapted as a comic?

    Make it happen, people.

How well do Optimus Primal and T-Rex Megatron scale with each other? Since the former is a Voyager and the latter is a Leader. Also, I remember at one point there was reported to be a Galvatron figure in this line? Are we still getting that or not?
