Finally got around to using a Magic Eraser on Hoist and Siege Hound.

Hound still isn't spotless due to all the nooks and crannies but Hoist no longer has those goofy faux-scratches that were tampo'd on to his chest and forearms.

 

How do I do this? Just scrub with a magic eraser?

That's basically what my research was telling me.

Seems this conversation derailed the thread a little, but there is one more thing I'd like to say about it.

I don't think Smokescreen and Bluestreak swapped names or toys.

I can't find any evidence that Smokescreen was ever intended to be anything other than the blue and red racing datsun.

This is conjecture of course, but I think the most likely scenario was that Bluestreak was originally intended to be the blue and grey datsun on the boxart and instructions.

He was likely changed relatively close to release simply because someone thought he was too similar to Smokescreen (identical blue heads with yellow chevrons), which might confuse kids and harm the sales of both.


Anyways, I love Bluestreak and I really hope I don't miss out on the ER one 'cause the Siege one ain't doin it for me anymore.

King Go Saurer's components are made out of a school. Thus he too is sometimes a building. Sadly the model kit can't do that.
