Looks like people finally bought most of the Netflix Siege figures that have been sitting at the Walmart in Saline. Megatron and all of Deluxes are gone except for 1 Hound. There's still a bunch of G1 Blasters.
Bluestreak is now showing up on Walgreen’s site. Showing in stock for various Michigan stores but not sure how accurate that is.
The Target on Coolidge has an Arcee and Wave 2 Micromasters. Snagged an Allicon just now from them, hope it’s a good figure.
Some Walmart’s just don’t carry Blaster, while they’re just shelfwarming at others. Throne of Toys has the Quintesson pit but at 2x price. Similar to eBay pricing. Edit: the Walmart next to IKEA still has Blaster as example. They also have ER Arcee, Deluxe Thunderhowl, and ER Doubledealer restocks.
I still need to check out Throne of Toys. Maybe in November since I took a day off to go take my kitten to the vet for their next round of vaccines. I saw Deluxe Thunderhowl at the Saline Walmart last night but $20 seemed like a lot for the Cyberverse Deluxes. They seem kinda cheaply made. Are they any good? Are the effect parts compatible with the Siege and ER stuff?
The problem with the Cyberverse Deluxe figures is the BAF parts, and the blast effects to a lesser extent. They’re not free and take away plastic and paint that should’ve gone to the actual figures. They’re nowhere near the quality of WFC deluxe figures. That being said, the better ones like OP, BB, and Arcee are worthwhile to get. Only BB and Thunderhowl’s blast effects are not WFC compatible (specific to their weapons). Edit: Stopped by other places on my IKEA pilgrimage. Big Ben still has ER Megatron (no judge left), ectotron, g1 reissue Astrotrain, g1 reissue soundwave, and surprisingly Netflix ultra magnus (+15 at $50).
Complete and utter bullshit on their part. I've checked 5 local stores that said "in stock" and they had absolutely nothing.
I went to two different stores within the hour and neither had Bluestreak in stock. I was told by both locations that they receive truck orders on Wednesdays and Saturday’s, but also need a day to put the new stock out. So, I’m going to check them again tomorrow. Also, keep an eye on the website, they may restore the buy online feature.
Yeah, I hit up 2 Walgreens that said they where there and they weren't. I'm not going to drive around town for safety so I'll either check again on my next errand run or just order online.
I don't have Deluxe Thunderhowl but that line is really nice and heavy. Good plastic and accessories. I think it's worth the price. I usually wait for a sale anyways
The whole exclusive thing has gotten completely out of hand and made it much harder for real collectors to obtain these figures. I've really considered just walking away for a while. I've missed 3 exclusives now that I may never be able to find at around retail price now in the last week alone.
I agree. I want to get Target Exclusive Thrust as he was one of my favorite G1 characters, but he's sold out preorder.....
