Honestly I am glad they're not spending the time to redo Devastator at the moment. The CW version was pretty good, and the reissue means anyone that missed it can get it. Now we just need a good Slag to recreate the moment in the movie where he SINGLE HANDEDLY defeated Devastator.

Current Devastator is fine and glad to see a reissues.

Can't wait to see what will be the differences with the original version.

You’re in luck. One of the store listings from earlier this year mentioned a Leader Slag with Daniel. Not sure how Hasbro got Slag’s name back, but I’m not complaining.

Slag's name was never a lost copyright issue, but a political correctness one. It's apparently some off-colour slang for "hooker" in the UK, so they've been avoiding using the name. Don't know what they're doing to get around that now, unless it's one of those cases where the store listing is a "placeholder" name for what we actually get.

Jazz really has come a long way since his Porche 935 turbo#14 days.

I sure hope Ocean designs or Toyhax can receate that Martinii :drunk  swoosh on his rear side wheels.

It'd be cool if they just found their lugnuts, said 'to hell with it' and went back to calling him Slag.

Do you mean the Amazon release? It's a straight re-issue. Not the Takara version.

    Takara version?

Don't expect to see the Takara version. If it is not a straight reissue, it will be a repaint. Just like the Movie Devastator in Studio Series or Walmart Headmasters (well, Headmasters have more changes)

By the way, It would be awesome to see a Devastator in G1 package!

Will see how straight it is.

Unfortunately, kibble can't just shrink to half size in real life...

at least, not at this scale.

To answer your post about not expecting another Takara version so soon. There must be a demand. Takara can't just snap their fingers and pops comes the weasel. Simple business economics. You don't keep track of your thoughts before posting?

Maybe they just don't release it there and let fans import it from overseas, like we have to do with gun mode Megatrons!

I looked into The Matrix mold and apparently, there is a 5 mm port on the back of it. I could tell based upon Emgo316's review of Earthrise Optimus Prime. He put the Jetfire Effect parts (his BLOOOOOOOOOSH part) into the back of it ("You can BLOOSH the Matrix".)

Oh! Ok, so I will pass for sure, it's out of scale with others combiners for me and out of WFC scales, so easy pass, thanks anyway :)

Yea, the matrix has a port on it, but that's now how this matrix effect plugs in. It slips around the center ball of the matrix and doesn't use the port on the matrix at all. It's shown in a few of the reviews. The circled spots slide around the ball of the matrix
