I'm sure cartoon Arcee spent some time in that lying down pose when she wasn't fighting off Decepticons. I mean, I lie on my bed like that when I'm on the phone sometimes. Really don't see the big deal.
The fact that Hasbro couldn't be bothered to paint her in more colors than a knockoff certainly didn't help her Earthrise figure either.
I was meaning to paint the figure myself to be on par with the legends figure I have, but I just can't find a pink paint that matches the plastic
I haven't been keeping up on most WFC stuff besides Jetfire and the Battlechargers (ordered the former and Runamuck so far as MP placeholders, gotta hunt for Runabout in Dec.), but my lord, that car mode. It legit looks like it's missing paint. Honest to God, it looks like a Figuarts bootleg that gets the paint apps wrong. I'll screech to a halt here just so this train doesn't derail.
That thought crossed my mind as well. You will also need gray paint to paint her unpainted butt and chest details as well as some red for her unpainted lips. Pathetic that a company like Hasbro was to cheap to do it themselves, but that's where we are now. What's even lamer is how her repaint, Lifeline, has more paint apps than Arcee. Despite being totally obscure, she received a better paint job than a main character!
Guys the pose is tame compaired to what they did with LG12 Windblade or any of the lg fembots remember Arcee could get into this pose and those most likely should be ok I mean the news article with this figure has a higher quality scan
Don't really see anything alarming here... Just a very 1990's stereotypical 'girly pose' Reminds me of the shows I used to watch as a kid on Nickelodeon like Doug, Sabrina the teenage witch, Clueless or Sister Sister etc... (On the house phone gossiping cause no one is home type vibe) Maybe its just me *shrugs. Glad I only skimmed the posts & didn't really seeing grown men perv over it like they did Blackarachnia, that was really f*ckin weird. I'm waiting to see if there will be some kinda Dr Wu faces & clip on chest upgrade kit to get her that extra 10% across the line to perfection. Would have never imagined this figure back in MP10 times.
The windblade pose is suggestive and I used it as an example that the pose could be worse on arcee which looks more like a "So what are you thinking about?"
It is weird that Arcee is so bad, but Elita One and the Paradron Medic seem to be more detailed. I'm hoping for an '86 studio re-release that does Arcee justice. And I wish, just once, we would get an Arcee without a goofy smile on her face.

But seriously, if you find anything sexually apealing about Arcee, that just comes naturally. Heck, Blackwidow is more vivacious over Arcee's plain Jane girl next door look. Gonna buy her just as I got ER Arcee just I as I got Legends Arcee.

Most of the noise are from those who don't really care for the brand else why let such a minute issue stop you from purchasing this engineering marvel? Now if this turns out to be a materials failure issue like Hound (that's another matter which btw, hasn't broken up on me yet)

Alittle bit of gloss white over her faceplate and apurple or pink lip gloss would have made ER Arcee a contender against the MP if you ask me.
