Takara is a great shout, I hadn't thought of that. Are they easy enough to get in the UK? I'm still waiting for that elusive Siege Ratchet to show up for pre-order somewhere

 

The only one I can think of that hasn't been mentioned is Perfect Effect Warden, which is MTMTE Fort Max. He's a stunning toy and I can highly recommend both the figure and the upgrade kit.

 

I would love to dabble in this as well! I love 3.75 scaled figures, but ReActions, while in the ballpark, is just too... lame. They have 5POA, what can you do with them? At the same price point, you can get a nice HIYA figure that has a ton of accessories and loaded with articulation. I guess they are for people who grew up with the 5POA figures of old and older franchises, but as a younger collector they just don't appeal to me in the slightest.

 

Oooh, had a look at those HIYA figures, look like my kinda thing... Any idea where to get them here?

Question, did anyone else order Hothouse from StarAF? He’s a no show thus far and I’ve seen the big block of red text on their site about staffing issues. I totally get that in the current climate and don’t want to be “that guy” asking where his preorder is  

Howeverz....I was looking for a little reassurance that they hadn’t been subjected to a good ol’ fashioned Hasbro UK dicking to the tune of “Yes we know we said 500 units, but we meant 5; the YTS boy got it wrong...”

Or am I just being paranoid?

On the flip side it has been quite refreshing this week to not have either woken up to have missed a pre-order OR got home and spent an hour hitting F5 like a mo’fo, simpler times

Athena is roughly Voyager, right? This mould would give Windblade a bit more presence on an average TF shelf... but I will probably sit tight and wait for a theoretical Voyager jet Windblade.

If they'd done Velocity I'd have been much more interested! She'd be taller than on-page, but the Lost Light crew shelf has loads of Deluxes and she'd break that up a bit.

I shouldn't like such a superfluous bit of kit so much, but on top of ALL OF THE EVERYTHING ELSE, this little bit of back feels like that final flourish of flair. I'm a proper nobhead, me.



Only downside is the lack of 5mm port on there, but it's detachable so.. eh.

Like you, I got this part to complete the figure and I agree it does that really well. I’m pleased to have got it.

For anyone considering this part, you won’t be disappointed. Napalm’s photos help to show how good it is.

 

Locker Toys would be your best bet, but I don't know if they ship to the UK though! Probably do but check just in case.

 

I also have this part and it does feel like a perfect finishing touch to the figure. The fact it transforms really makes it feel like a proper product. Small part, but very effective as that gap in truck mode annoyed me way more than it should have. I keep meaning to order the nonnef kit for the trailer, but every time I go to gworks and put it in the cart, I'm looking at the price and thinking "That's the price of a voyager figure." I just can't bring myself to purchase once that thought sets in.

 

I have the KBB MP10v trailer. When I look at EROP’s trailer I cannot help thinking how lacking it is. Even the original G1 OP trailer was better quality than EROPs trailer.

Like you, I look at the Nonnef trailer kit thinking it will help improve the trailer but the price irks me and I also swerve pressing ahead with it. This expression comes to mind for me:
