So after a couple of days, I'm warming to Mammon. I wasn't stoked for the yellow accents and the video reviews cooled my jets further.

He's pretty standard fair for TFC. Slightly dodgy paint apps and conspicuously more than their Sinnertwin. Also some funny engineering decisions. You can see what their trying to do but something about certain aspects of the transformation coupled with the materials and the execution are a bit off. The legs take some getting used to for instance. Also the buzzsaw in the lower jaw in my copy is not attached and falls out when you open the mouth.

However, I do quite like him. TFC have improved a lot since I first had Hercules. The articulation is nice and expressive and the figure, bar the necessary backpack, has a nice silhouette.

I think the transformation is much simpler than Astaroth, and that's a good thing.

The way the lower legs transform into beast mode is really dodgy.

With Mammon, the transformation is actually fun. My favorite part or the "masterpiece moment" is folding the legs up in to the backpack.

They look great together too. 20201018_114038.jpg

They do look good together, I can't wait for my Mammon now. Unfortunately, Astaroth will likely be staying in doggy mode for a while until I get the stones to try transforming him again. The first time back and forth, his forearm panels were so tight that the force required for opening them bent and stretched the plastic back leaving stress marks and feeling like another attempt might tear that softer plastic. I know I can sand those down to help it along, but I really just don't want to chance further damage at the moment.

Hey folks, I've posted a review if anyone's interested in taking a look.

I love this figure! It's got a few flaws no doubt but it looks awesome and it's definitely not boring!

I am glad it's not just me having the wonky beast hips. I really like the beast mode with the exception of that part.

Quite liking the look of these guys. Anyone know if combined mode will scale with Constructor and the other big lads?

I don't think so, because TFC don't make fakeformers and the individual bots aren't big enough to make a 50 cm combined mode.

Shame. I like the techno organic look they're going with , was hoping they'd beef it up a bit. I swear I read somewhere Satan was going to be bigger than Poseidon.

Yeah, a few stores are listing TFC Satan as being 50cm/20'' tall (pretty close to Constructor etc). Given the size of the figures so far, how the hell is that going to work?

Yeah, TFsource listed him at 50 cm, but I think they are wrong...

Yup. He’s listed elsewhere at 38 cm. Can’t go by retailers’ listings. They’re all over the place. If I remember correctly, this was announced three years ago at 16 inches.

Just ordered Mammon and Astaroth from Chosen Prime. Should be arriving next week. Am both excited and nervous.

Damn. Looked a couple of reviews for the leg bots and they seem to to pretty much the same size as their Poseidon set, so either Hun-Grrr is going to absolutely massive to compensate, or that size on the store pages is rubbish, which is more likely. Still, may just give these a shot any way; I'm a sucker for monster/beast bots.

Astaroth was my first TFC bot, so when I had first transformed him to leg mode I looked at the size and thought "there's no way it's only 15 or 16 inches." Then I looked up Poseidon and saw how absolutely blocky and chunky he is and understood, lol.

Solid review, though I thought giving 6's to things you said were terrible was generous. Kinda bummed about the splotchy paint on a $100 figure.
