To be fair, Bluestreak doesn't appear to be a preorder, they weren't taking any orders till they actually had them in hand. That helps give the appearance of competence at least because orders will ship out a lot faster

 

This level of competence is something the other retailers could learn from. Maybe Hasbro should wait for retailers to get product in-hand, reveal it on a First Friday, and then have the retailer open orders right after!

 

Sweet. Just got a tracking number for my Bluestreak order!  

My watch on this thread has ended again in annual tradition.  

I'll see you guys again ~one year from now when the next Walgreens exclusive is announced.

meh, preorders are fine, and usually handled fairly competently unless you are walmart. walmart always screws up

 

Cool. I go to check if it at the local walgreens after it shows in stock. Of course it isn't. I come back, and sold out online.

This has been a banner week for TF pre-orders.

 

Sweet. Looks like I got a shipping confirmation email about 2 hours ago. ER Bluestreak should be here by Friday.
I wish shopping for their exclusives was this painless back when I was a Funko Pop! collector.

that is fair and true – I'll be gobsmacked if my Walmart Soundwave ever shows up. But I'm also just still salty over my Amazon Conehead experience...
(and there's been a some delays too, Paradron pack being pushed backs etc., all the deluxe wave 2/3 issues, mind you, that's back on Hasbro I think...)

 

Yea, the amazon coneheads was definitely a bummer for anyone that wasn't able to get it (and especially if you had it cancelled on you). The wave2/3 delays I just chalk up to everything still trying to bounce back from covid, there's been some true oddities the last few months, like Rotorstorm shipping 2 months prior to his estimated date along with others getting pushed back, wave 3 voyagers coming out months before the wave 2 deluxes etc etc. Odd times for sure

 

WOHOOOOO!!! Both of my Bluestreaks have shipped! Both expected on Friday!

I wonder if they will ever go back up as preorders? Cause this was just buying them, no preorders.

 

I got my 'streak shipped to-store. Do you just go to a cashier for the pickup?

 

I don't think walgreens does preorders, they just put stuff up as they get it

 

on the order page it said you go to the photodesk.  

It just occurred to me, it's kind hysterical that the Datsun Bro that Hasbro hasn't even acknowledged as existing is the one most folks will end up getting in hand first.
(I know Smokescreens out there, but seems to be fairly limited at this point)

 

So mine has shipped, just created a Walgreens account but it didn't bring over Bluestreak, I'm also regretting not going through Rakuten as I could've earned a couple of points.

 

After all of you guys' reassurances, I did get an order in earlier. But I haven't gotten a confirmation or notification that it's shipped. Kind of worried.

 

They did (test?) pre-orders with Marvel Legends exclusives Moon Knight and Iron Man 2020 this year... My Moon Knight pre-order got canceled when it didn't meet the ship date/got relisted as in-stock the same day walmart.com style, and I was able to re-order. It's like walgreens and walmart hired the same dude to set up their pre-order system.  

Also, I've noticed if your 'in stock' item doesn't ship within 3-5 days of placing the order, it gets auto-canceled.

 

Well, crap. Not a good sign.
