The roof not lining up flesh with the rest of the back of the car, the whole altmode kind of not holding together solidly? I tranformed hm again and it seems to be even worse, now the doors won't stay closed

This mold is trash. They really dropped the ball on this, and they continued to use it for additional characters without making a fix!

It's really not trash. It's not perfect either, but definitely not trash

The number 01099373017 is the ID for us to look it up right?  Is that the UPC then?

Do we know the Walgreens ID# yet?

The ER Datson mold has a trick to transforming it. I had a problem with the roof on Smokescreen not going in before I figured it out. Not sure if it's the same thing you are describing.

You need to place the arms in last. That gives you the ability to bend the back of the car down and fold his legs into the correct position and then slide them up and into the roof. Then you can rotate the feet and then the arms.

I close the feet bottoms last myself, after I've done the arms and doors. Before that though to line up the roof when going to car mode, I recommend letting the bonnet tip forward (I find it's best to have the arms out for an easier tipping), so the lever it's on is pretty much resting on the robot head, which allows the roof to tip up a tiny bit for clearance. Then swing the tabbed together legs upwards at the hip, and don't bend the knees until they touch, or almost touch, the roof section. The lower legs go in easiest in a sort of 'hooking under' motion, and you can continue to fully compress the thighs into position when doing this.
Once the legs are fully compressed, you'll find you need to lift the bonnet straight to lower the roof into place proper. Arms then doors or doors then arms doesn't seem to make much difference to me so try that whichever way you're most comfortable and get the sides locked, then close the bottom of the feet to lock everything together, flipping the ported heels in last as the coup de grace.

In my experience across 2 Bluestreaks and a Smokescreen there seems to be quite a narrow "Goldilocks Zone" on assembly tolerances, as my Smokescreen clips easily and solidly together this way but both copies of Bluestreak have a scary amount of spring tension in one or both of their sides in car mode, I suspect due to almost imperceptible ever-so-slight variances of angle in assembly (the tell is though everything is in place I have to slightly flex one or both doors downward to line them up to tab into the clear lower leg section).

I'd note that going easy on the arms and not fully tabbing them in but just having them correctly aligned may also assist in staying together, on one copy tabbing them in fully just makes them pop back out again, even though when I popped the doors off to see if there was some excess mass in either them or on the tabs causing it to find that they fit perfectly, another indication it's some kind of cumulative slight misalignment causing the sides' spring tension.

I clicked on Amazon link, said in stock November 19, but for $70???

I'm guessing it is a 3rd party seller, but November 19 date is interesting?

I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t want a roof lining up with my flesh. That sounds painful.

I mean the only difference is where its being shipped to. So id guess the only difference is what address is on the box. If youd get a random deluxe with STS, you'd get it at home too.

    But I could be wrong.

Bluestreak DOES have his own number, but ships to stores under the assortment. Its just like how Target does things. Each figure has its own DPCI, but ship to stores under the assortment.

Stores do free ship to store to get you into the store and hope youll get something else while youre there.
