I just can't remotely justify what they are charging for MPs nowadays... I'd love to have a complete set of the MP Diaclones, but probably never happen.

I'm the same to an extent (I haven't bought any in 2 years), but I made an exception for red Sunstreaker because of his significance.

These are real cars we are talking about, some of them among the best designs cars have ever seen. They're just beautiful figures in both modes, even if I have no attachment to the characters. I hesitated to jump into this pool but I'm all in now, especially with Delta Magnus being a thing. As of today I own all Diaclone MP's to date and feel fortunate to do so.

Now I hope that they not only get to characters like Mirage and Trailbreaker for themselves, but also to have their Diaclone colors. I'm quite surprised at this point black Ironhide isn't a thing - those molds haven't been reused at all. It doesn't appear they sold poorly so I wonder what happened?

Oh, one Diaclone set and one Transformers set.

Great, I'm going to have to buy another Spinout now.

I was going to say it's a shame they weren't tampo'd but then you pointed out there's two sets so it makes sense to go with stickers. Choices are good.

You're right about the dates. Note that on Arcee's box there's a printed test-shot number, so I guess it's not all finalised, but I imagine that by now all Spinouts are made and packed up.

I forget....is Spin Out a TT Mall exclusive?

He's the best looking MP I've seen in forever. If there were any chance he'd linger and get discounted on amazon like some of the others, I'd grab him in a heartbeat, but that doesn't tend to happen for TT Mall releases.

(Although you can get Chromed out Megatron on amazon japan for like 27,000 but I think it's from resellers and that's not much of a discount, is it?)

You could always try yahoo, but this is one of the times hes considerably cheaper through Hasbro versus Takara.

    I just realised. He’s MP-39+.... + Spinout.

You get a Spinout toy, and a toy version of Sunstreaker. It all makes sense.

Except it doesn’t. But also it does.

I think I see where you're coming from.

Assuming you have both the original MP-39 Sunstreaker and Spin-Out, and are willing to play surgeon, you could futz with the two toys so you give MP-39 the toy-based head and shin pieces from MP-39+.

We did see him wearing the shoulder stickers back at this toy show.

I guess the other red stickers are for the rear of the car, where those red shoulders would've been visible on the original toy?

Or does anyone have a better idea?

If that's the case then they certainly seem to be made for Sunstreaker here, which makes me really think we'll never get a separate toy-accurate Sunstreaker MP.

I wonder if those Autobot symbols are extra, or if they've been stickers the whole time, and it's possible for him to have a completely blank chest? I kinda wanna re-preorder to find out!

Only other possibility I can think of is to cover the black that MP-39+ has above the wheel wells, if someone really wants to be a stickler for toy accuracy (while serving the dual purpose of making toy Sunstreaker possible). Don't know if they're even the right shape for what I just said though, ha.
