For those of us who are slightly annoyed by the short stature of these guys and the remaining MS ones are still far off, you can tweak the pose substantially higher on the NA datsuns.

rotate the crotch piece down 90 degrees, the counter rotate the legs. Unpin the torso and lift it gently but keep it pushed back as far as possible, and lift it to however high you can accept before the face gets occluded. You get a gentle lift from these tweaks which in my eyes significantly helps the overall silhouette. Both pics have Silverstreak with the tweak, but Smokescreen has the new and old pose in the pics.

too bad my angle on the cam was off a bit, but if you cycle between the two it looks like Smokescreen is growing

heh those Chug Datsuns came so close but so far. The wheels are atrocious and the sweater neck ring looks so bad. Otherwise, it was a decent toy.. other than the door wing transformation.. I challenged myself to not pop them off and almost never made it.

 

I can't argue with that, especially the doors popping off (takes a careful folding out of the too tight poles they're connected to), but there's something about those generation of figures that speaks to me a lot more than the Siege/Earthrise figures coming out now. Perhaps because I'm getting my toon itch so thoroughly scratched already by the big legends three?
