Dang. I didn't know Thrust or Runabout were up tonight.   I didn't have a problem getting Leadfoot or the Decepticon clones, and I found Skywarp/Thundercracker at retail. So fingers crossed I can find these two somewhere.

Because of some weird tom-fuckery with Target's hold on my card, I just cancelled my Jazz and Grim. I'll just pay MSRB or wait for another sale.

 

They hopefully shouldn't be too hard to find in the b&m stores at least. Thrust should be in a single character case of 3. Runabout should be in a single character case of 8.

More recently, when Target stores started getting Leadfoot, they put a lot up at once because they were in cases of 8.

 

why not get it from other retailers

 

Other retailers aren't running sales and I like hunting at retail.

Got my Fallen Leader Prime & Snazzy paint job Megatron yesterday in the mail. Target actually packed them pretty decent. They're both still in one piece.  

 

Wish my Megs was better. Did site to store & he’s bent/crinkled in the corner. Prime is in excellent shape though.

 

The Target BOGO clown fiesta continues. Got an email at 4am for another delay for Overload until November 4th. Big Surprised. Accepted it.
Then at 5am Cliffjumper and Skipjack are canceled because I didn't accept the delay on them. Except I didn't get an email for them and when I accepted the extension for Overload, they were there too. This joins Topsin last week.

I know exactly how this ends. I doubt Overload is gonna ever arrive. The thing is, I've SEEN all of these in Target and didn't pick them up because of the BOGO deal. But now, it seems, Target got one shipment of this stuff in September, and that's it. Fricken ridiculous.

BOY I'd sure like to eventually complete Devastator.

 

If you see them in-store, you should just pick them up and ask the person at the checkout to price match your 25% off online Target order. That's what I've been doing, since the pre-orders are unreliable. Most of the time they don't even ask to see the order.

 

Next time I'm gonna do that. I don't even really care about Skipjack and Cliffjumper, besides the BOGO deal. $20 won't kill me. It's the Overload. Getting him for $30 with the BOGO deal was nice. But getting him at all, since he's not out of stock locally since I waited for this BOGO deal to ship, would be grand, so I could complete devastator. I saw him. I even thought about it. Chances are it get canceled before he comes into stock locally.

 

I specifically tried to do this with Studio Series Overload when I saw him in store over two months ago now. After playing on his phone for five minutes, the manager on duty refused to price match for me - claiming the item number he had for Overload was different on his phone than the item number I had for him on my pre-order in app. He was arguing that they were two different items so he couldn't price match.

So I'm still here waiting on my pre-order.

 

Yeah, some folks here have some mighty considerate Target employees in their areas. I tried twice to get Target to price match my $50 Skylynx preorder from Walmart and got a quick and solid "Nope" both times, in contrast to several board members who had no issue trying the same tactic.

I've found that price matching with any company is, has, and always will be a decidedly YMMV situation.

Same bullshit happened to me   I approved delays on those same figures and they still canceled, talking about they didn't hear from me...target trying to get out of honoring discounts...fml. Walmart is no better though.

I just checked and those assholes sent out more delay confirmation requests for the same figures a week after I approved the first ones. They should be defaulted to approve automatically, deny manually in the first place...such bullshit. I hope anyone that has a ps5 or series x through them has a backup plan

 

Yeah, was surprised on mine. Sucks about your Megs. Mine has a slight crease on one corner, but that's it. Better than when I got my ER Clone Two pack from them, toy box corners were all smashed to hell. Like they rolled it down the longest and steepest hill they could find before putting it in the shipping box.  
Would rather find these figures in store, but it's a 45 minute drive to my nearest Target.

 

Got them in the mail today - mine were both folded at the top so they could cram them into a box one size too small to appropriately ship the pair. The lone air bag really helped as well, lol.
