What's the general consensus on the KO MP44 knees compared with the Official MP44 knees? Would you say the KO's knees are worse?

*Update* I fear that if the second batch doesn't satisfactorily repair some of the more egregious problems, I will have to repurchase the official and be done with it. Probably be done with KOs forever after. Too much heart ache.

The head's came on and off fairly easily, but it was still terrifying.

I am digging this thing more and more. Am I digging it enough to drop mad cash money on MP49? No, but my wife wants me to make a Christmas list, so best believe it goes on it (and maybe the MP43 KO if it's still around)...yesss!! With that said, here's some comparisons to the KuBianBao MP10V. I still hope that they do a MP44V. Huh. I still think that 44's axe is crap, but now I see that despite the craptastic connection point system used here, it actually blows away 10's better looking axe because 44 can use it on either side. 10's is restricted exclusively to the right hand.

Anyway...the folding gimmick of the ion rifle is stupid in both cases, but the storage? 10 got 44 WHOOPED in that regard, cuz all of 44's options just look dumb.

Not sure if anyone else noticed it or if it's even a thing on the legit, but it seems like the whole thing behind the sucky gun holding is that the tabs are sloped. I don't think any MP can hold that thing perfectly since this is the case.

So, I've just loosened the particular screws in the legs mentioned in the PDF... and I noticed something odd. Seems that the tabs have been cut a bit, as the slanted slim part looks pretty rough on that side view. I don't care, the knee joint works correctly now; though I had to loosen up the screw in the left knee quite a ways more than the right knee and then tighten it back little by little.

I also got the screws in the arms that the PDF mentioned. FINALLY got those stupid panels to open, so I filed down the corners that made opening them nigh impossible. (No pics of that, though) I guess maybe now I can finally get around to the transformation.

Figured i'd show off the paint i used for his eyes. I used Tamiya X-14 Sky Blue and i'm pleased with it. In the pictures you can also see how i'm currently tackling my dual knee issues. Had to loosen the screw on both knees and i'm having him kneel to hopefully shape the plastic tabs a bit for smooth movement of the 2nd knee ratchets. So far so good, though. I even added a pinpoint drop of shock oil to the tabs so they can slide in easier. Oh, and i tried putting the ear antennas in boiling water today and they barely straightened at all.

When it’s still “hot or warm”out of the water, bend outwards to the outer side till it’s cooled. It should work nicely after you let go :)

I finally got a chance to transform him. (Former 11'er here)
The knees on mine work as intended. The truck came together almost perfectly.
I made sure to loosen the butt screw for the ab crunch that I'll probably never use.
At some point I'll paint the eyes.
Between this guy and TE-01 and MP-10, I think I'm set on MP Primes forever.

Still an 11'er. Still stuck in New Jersey. I even got something from my New Jersey hold that I ordered weeks later from ShowZ and was apparently part of the same shipping batch. Have any of you had any luck calling...anyone over this? Should I just give up and seek a refund?

Is the tracking working? Mine was part of the bunch that arrived in CA at the end of September. Once it got to the US the USPS tracking was fairly accurate with the info it got from Pitney Bowes. I'm also in NJ.

Tracking still says "On its way to USPS" and that it's in Monroe Township, NJ. The other item said the same thing right up until it immediately jumped to "DELIVERED." Every day I hope. ;)

Edit: it's been this message since October 10.

Fans Toys could probably make a good looking OP, but MP-44 will still stomp in extreme yet natural articulation.

I preordered from Bababobo back in April on Ebay. Anyone else still waiting for theirs from Baba? I know Baba said they didn't have enough of the first pre-order shipment. I've always ordered from Baba with no issues. Baba is my first choice because of the amount of orders I have done with Baba. I'm just curious how many of us could still be waiting.

So I was finally able to get it transformed...had to refer to a couple of videos and still had some difficulty...this transformation IS NOT fun. It's even worse than MP36's (but at least I have a rather Hasbro level craptastic instruction manual for my IT01 KO; the MP44 doesn't have that, and it seems that NOBODY has uploaded the instruction manual for MP44 or MP49).

It looks okay enough. The way the trailer hitch comes together is really irritating. At least the area with the taillights doesn't look entirely like feet (thanks to how the heels wrap around), so suck on that MP01 & MP10...I guess? Well...if a KO of the trailer, Roller, & the repair drone gets made, cool. If not, cool.

Hmmm. The gas tank issue strikes again. From the look of it, either the hook that latches onto the rim to keep this section closed is too short, or...
    20201020_232514.jpg
...something inside ain't quite right. (That square peg does seem a hair too short to securely connect with the matching hole it has to go into on the truck panel.

...that's pretty much how mine does. And any attempt to get in there and fix it either: doesn't work or makes the other side disconnect as well. (Then again, I am 90% certain it's a design flaw, as a few of the legit MP44 videos had that happen, too...) I did notice one thing in common across the videos I've watched, so I'll try that the next time I transform it and see what happens.

The lack of paint no doubt makes the already suspect tolerances even screwier; that's not a surprise at all considering that the "Pure Red" release of KFC "Transistor" has similar problems with tabs & tolerances...all due to the lack of paint on it.

That looks great!! If the gold Sharpie paint pen I have wasn't trash tier (oil based), I'd definitely give it a try.
