These are pretty cool, glad for another chance to get the Takara heads for these figures. Especially since that new packaging is so good

Only 2 waves got leaked. Who's to say there isn't a third? Also Punch is in wave 2 and he is not a Headmaster, but he too is from 1987 which is the year these boxes hommage.

I'm thinking of grabbing one of these: which mold is better, Hardhead or Highbrow? (I have Brainstorm and all the cons, and Chromdome just seems boring to me...)

Hardhead is the better mould if I'm honest. Highbrow is just kinda lame.

We all are dude, we all wanna get them...Limited time now isn't as bad and I mean the Limited time exclusives (meaning you can get them everywhere after a certain amount). Now...I only got Chromedome and Brainstorm so I'm fine. Hardhead and Mindwipe are more my speed.

It is just another selfish exclusive, something really great for Europe market.

And all four guys are just re-release in retro box. It would be much easier to get Titans Return version.

Honestly those are my 2 favorites. Highbrow has really good articulation and looks great. A deep knee bend and heroic shoulders make for great poses. Hardhead has articulation in different places but they both add up well. Hardhead has the articulated cannon and wrist articulation which help out.

Those boxes look gorgeous, weren't these supposed to go on preorder already? Still haven't seen them on Wally World's website.

How cool would it have been if these were all G1 Reissues? Would have been major hype for these.

Instead despite the great packaging and proper names which is appreciated, they're really lame. The figures themselves are pretty but not even accurate to their own box art - I'm not really sure what they were going for here. Just figures that look nice I guess? They definitely look better than the regular Hasbro releases so I guess anyone who didn't buy the Legends version can upgrade, but I feel like they could have coordinated these better around a singular concept.

The farther we get from the 80's with the fandom still as strong as it is, they're throwing away easy money by not re-releasing several classics that have never had proper reissues. It's become a big black hole in a flooded market, quite ironic.

    RIP Walmart G1 reissues.

Genuinely sad about that, I'd bought every one so far and they were not easy to find.

The boxes are nice, but that just makes the lack of G1 toys in them even worse. This is an easy pass.

The boxes are half the reason I want them, to be completely honest. The straight up reuse of the original packaging art seals the deal.

I'll be getting them for the boxes alone.
If Hasbro ends up doing new figures in retro boxes instead of these Titans return reissues I'll have to buy two of everything.

These and Kingdom have actually tempted me to become a MISB collector, which I never thought would happen.

a retro package line does not equate to the end of reissues, they're 2 different product lines

Do not get me wrong the G1 boxes do look amazing but it is not worth buying these guys all over again for slighlty different heads and paint. Altthough I will say the Hardhead one is slighlty tempting but still that is more of a \"hey if anyone wants to get me this for Christmans or birthday as a present I will appreciate it and be thanful if thats what you decide on\". Brainstrom and Chromdome I am happy as they are but will say I will get Mindwipe since I missed him imn 2017 so this will be my chance to get him. Hasbro if you see this I just want to say I also missed Weirdwolf so if you wanna milk me more give him a rerelease.

At first I was going to pass on these but they look really good. I've gotten all of the Walmart reissues up to this point (Blaster should be arriving any day now) so these should fit right in.

I feel ya'. I don't usually harp on retailers too much, but frankly Walmart.com all too often proves to be a big waste of time. Delays, random cancelations on items still up for preorder like Elita, and in the end people who preordered usually get their product well after the figures start showing up in the actual stores (just ask the people who preordered the Ghostbusters). Sadly just not worth it.
