The transformers land will be a metroplex like transformer named metrobase and nest is working with the transformers again.

    Will have--

    The ride from usf.

A coaster based on the hulk coaster.

A teacup type ride. Not in video but it's rumored to be based on bumblebee.

While the plans look kool, the new normal the world is moving towards will likely 1) involve a 1-2 year international travel state involving 2 weeks of quarantine for all foreigners, meaning kiss leaving your home country in the short term goodbye 2) financial penalties for China in some yet to be finalized form. I would bet this will result in the part & this development being more local population-based in the end.

More info on transformers land and other lands at universal beijing.

Transformers Land is a clone of marvel island.

Coaster is a clone of hulk and may be about devestator.

Storm ride is now bumblebee. A big bumblebee is in the middle and will play music for guests as you spin around him.

Transformers ride from universal will replace spider-man. (it's the same ride anyways)

Dr doom clone has been killed so no dr dooms fearfall clone.

The land is really a city metroplex like transformer.

Includes a cg look at the land.

Universal Beijing Resort Reveals New Details for Transformers Megabase, Minion Land, and More

Watch: Universal Beijing Resort Reveals New Details for Transformers Megabase, Minion Land, and More

Universal Beijing Resort today revealed some new details about plans for its upcoming theme park and hotels, including a video that showcases some concept art for the many themed lands, attractions, and more. Work began back in 2014 on the ambitious Chinese theme park, which is a joint venture that is 70% owned by Beijing Shouhuan Cultural Tourism Investment Co., Ltd. and 30% owned by Universal Parks & Resorts, and now it’s almost time to unveil the massive project to the public.

Akin to Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Beijing Resort encompasses a theme park, multiple hotels, and a Universal CityWalk hub, and this new video shows all of these off. The theme park is divided into seven distinct lands: Kung Fu Panda Land of Awesomeness, Transformers Metrobase, Minion Land, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Jurassic World Isla Nublar, Hollywood, and Waterworld.

The all-new lands here that don’t exist anywhere else are Kung Fu Panda Land of Awesomeness, Transformers Metrobase, and Minion Land, and they each feature unique attractions as follows:

In Transformers Metrobase, the first entire Transformers land in the world exclusively built in Universal Beijing Resort, guests can choose to become “guest agents” and fight together with Autobots on thrilling rides like the Decepticoaster, the biggest and most exciting roller coaster in the Resort or the Transformers: Battle for the AllSpark, one of the most popular rides in the land or visit the Energon Power Station to “replenish energy” like a bot.

The Driller roller coaster is such a cool concept! Though, I do question why you ride out of the Driller. It would be so much cooler if you rode into the Driller!

With the exception of the the Driller Coaster and the presence of Prime and Bee...it doesn't really look like Transformers. The production design has more of a Power Rangers base vibe.

Looks like the Driller Coaster is a reskin of the Hulk Coaster in Florida, which honestly isn't the worst thing in the world as that ride is one of the very best coasters out there.

The theming is unfortunately on the generic sci-fi side. It would have been cool if it were a hybrid NEST / Cybertronian facility.

Wow that looks so generic and reminds no fan of the TransFormers look. What a waste.

This just yet another example of why it's important for a real, quality TransFormers movie universe to take hold.

The only part of it I like is the Drillbot roller coaster tunnel even though it kind of resembles the Overload mixer drum for SS Devastator.

The driller coaster is a really neat idea, although I wish there was more theming like arms coming off the track or buildings to fly between like Optimus does when he takes out the Driller. The star of the show is of course the Transformers ride from the other parks, which is awesome. It's not something I'll ever visit, but I always love seeing more Bayverse stuff!

They did this to HK Disney as well, not sure if they stopped though, which I hope they did. You couldn't pay me to go to this...not even due to the "New Norm" but the fact you don't know how truly safe the rides are if it's mainlanders building all the rides, and unless they have many inspectors ensuring that they're actually using the correct materials to build it....this is one QC issue you definitely don't want to deal with.

The current universe is the one that raked in billions, so they're going to ride that until future success dictates a change.
