Wow, what? Highbrow has the best neck of any headmaster. He actually has a range movement! That\'s like being upset that a figure has wrist swivel. No other headmaster that I have has better articulated neck. I would never be upset about more articulation.

I know if I see these in the store I’ll be tempted to get them (and probably will cave and buy them), but dang, I wish they would have just continued with the actual G1 reissues and re-released the actual G1 Toys, rather than go the GI Joe Retro route and release newer figures in vintage style packaging.

Really? No sense whatsoever? You can't imagine at all why these re-releases might be useful for somebody somewhere? Not even one reason?!

ahhhh...yeah that sucks. i was hoping they'd continue reissues of the originals also, not put modern versions in a vintage box.

No kidding. I don't have a single inclination to buy these, but even I'm loving the retro packaging they went for on these. Not enough to buy them, but they'd look great lined up with most other G1 reissues!

Heh, even Hasbro forgets to flip up the hand covers on Brainstorm for the official pic, lol.

It was bound to happen eventually with Transformers. Hasbro does it with retro black series and kenner style packaging

It happens with the Retro Marvel Legends and Toybiz style packaging

And it's also happened with retro G.I. Joe using the 25th anniversary molds in ARAH packaging

was only a matter of time before Transformers got in on it too

Almost double? TR Deluxes were $15 ($17 at TRU), and the reissues are $20.

A new sub sub subline, very intriguing, I wonder if this foreshadows similar treatment for Fortress Maximus?

It really has just replaced cuck tho, they mean the exact same thing. I remember using it as a shorthand for simpleton back around 2016-2017-ish

sadly no sign of the Headmasters popping up individually, you can only get them as a four pack.

I would love a Triggerhappy release without soapy Plastic.

Or yeah Misfire would be cool.

This Brainstorm is kinda nice so is Hardhead.

"These"? You mean the individual Constructicons?

I mean, you can agree to that, but if going by Sunbow, which Hasbro seems to, they really don't.

The more I see these the more tempting they are, though that may just be lack of new product in hand talking haha

The post of mine you quoted was in reference to me agreeing that the headmaster/titanmaster figures scale just fine with WFC figures. I just double checked and there was no mention of constructicons that I saw, so I honestly have no idea what you are talking about, especially since you were the one that said "these" in the first place (logically assuming you were asking about the figures that are the topic of this thread)

That 1987 packaging brings back so many memories, especially that poster. Would have given an arm and a leg as a kid for just the poster alone... 1987 toys were sadly super scarce in Hungary, stuff only started to trickle in in 1988 when communism started to finally crumble, and unlike 1984-1986 stuff that was later re-released in the goldbox Classics line, sadly these weren\'t, so they were super hard to get.
It seems Hasbro finally copyrighted Headmaster, as the heads are called that, not Titan Masters. And I noticed only later that they re-drew the heads on the G1 boxart to match the Legends designs!

I am gonna buy Chromedome only - the rest I prefer with the toy-accurate deco and heads, but Chromedome had the MTMTE inspired colors and head (grey arms and new head). Time to replace that.

I can understand Misfire, as he was last wave and is super hard to find. But Triggerhappy was even available in my country and barely any of TR made it to here. Not sure what you mean by soapy plastic? He had the correct toy colors.
Doubtful, as they would need to include an extra Battlemaster of Aimless, Caliburst and Blowpipe, and that'd hardly fit the budget.

Not to mention that these are the Legends toys, and you could only get those at a 10-20$ extra (price varies per toy) from ebay sellers mostly.

I would love some of these as Headmasters were some of the last molds I bought back in the day, but being exclusives the possibility I'll miss them because I didn't check to see if they were open for a half-hour while I take a meeting is just way too high to get my hopes up.

So. Sick. Of. Limited release exclusives.
