Mmm, very very tempting.  But it\'s been a pretty busy year for me.  I never got around to getting Maketoys version.  I think I\'ll hold off and enjoy this one from afar.

 

You might be right, as we've been down this road before with MT G2 Starscream, which was hinted to have more accessories, to only find out there wasn't any.

I guess we wait to confirm for sure on second head sculpt we haven't been shown yet.

 

I would rebuy my entire px collection if it meant we got nice decos like this. Both armored and naked Prime look great rocking diaclone colors. This mold with the armor is one of my favorites despite the parts forming, questionable px QC at the time, range limitations, and inability to properly grasp his weapons with the armored hand. I can't explain it. The design and chonk wins me over in the end so I'll probably pick this up eventually...

 

He looks slick.   He gives off strong IDW Delta Magnus vibes.

 

I think the mold is just too simple to be Diaclone upgraded Convoy/Transformers WFC-FOC Ultra Magnus, the colors looks nice, Planet X has some very good figures (and others not so much). But with so many characters in WFC/FOC and even Trilogy Novels, I think we deserve a Bruticus, Warpath, more seekers, Soundwave and many more than more repaints, I mean, is good to have all the variations from a character but since Planet X is producing just one, two or three figures a year (maybe), well, repaints fill a gap that is not really there, I think.

 

Oh yeah! This is necessary to get!

 

while i do agree with you this is just an exclusive figure to get during tfcon. Im willing to be they are making a bruticus or the other characters.

 

Love it, love the deco, love Planet X, but not a figure for my shelf this year.

I like it a lot but I’ve jumped through waaaaay too many too-overpriced-to-get-in-the-UK hoops already this year.

There is a G1 cartoon color scheme, G1 Marvel, G1 toy, G2 Turquoise, G2 tiger stripe, Shattered Glass, and RID 2015 decos that I know of off the toy of my head, are there any others they haven't done with Vulcun yet?

 

Speaking of that RID deco, I've been wanting PX to remold this guy into RID Grimmy like TakTom did with the FOC Grimlock since forever now!

Sadly it'll never happen, but if it did happen I'd be the happiest Grimlock collector in the world.  

 

I always felt PX missed out by not doing SG instead of Fireblast since that was the same TFCon as Apocalypse was announced (SG Grimlock's colors being Trypticon's)

 

I hope that one day a diaclone recolour of ultra Magnus will be released as a Hasbro exclusive or something and it won’t be massively expensive and rare. Maybe if the new kingdom ultra Magnus figure has armor like in siege they can use that.

 

They should\'ve made this into Strika. I think it would really fit this mold great.  Just something different from Prime and Magnus.

 

Tempting, and I do need a Delta Magnus of some sort, but I'm a bit eh on it personally.

 

Probably gonna grab it, but man I was hoping for a metallic version of Magnus with a Prime that matched the colors of the armor. The white Prime stuck out so much under the armor

 

Very thankful of Klarna being a thing. It allowed me to get this guy so I don’t gotta use 140$ today lol. But I been waiting for this for a long time and I’m super happy

 

Hopefully some Chinese retailers will manage to land this. 129.99 is a bit hard to swing. Had it been 100, I would have jumped on it without hesitation.
