Didn't MMC say they're out of joints now, for those requesting them?

Where are people getting the idea that there's a reissue? Where are people getting the idea that there's a reissue with better parts? I don't remember a mention of anything like that in this thread.

That's different situation... We are talking about the "same toy" , one defective and the other functional, I think there are different ways to deal with problems with YOUR products, and I don't find this one in particular a good one.

If my option to fix my figure is by buying the same figure over again because OM didn't do his job well the first time, I say it is unfair.

Sometimes shit happens... the designs have flaws, QC issues, etc. and that is completely understandable, but give people a reasonable way to find a solution to those problems.

TFM, KFC, UT and FT provide parts without charge or include compensations when they messed up.

    Shoulder ratchets I believe.

Digger said something about it, but maybe he was wrong, I don't know.

If that's the case, then I better wait to see if OM will say something about it.

I see you point and you can contact Mastermind creations to get replacement parts I’ve done so in the past with other figures that I’ve bought from them but at the end of the day they still have to make money regardless I mean look at Hasbro for an instance let’s say you purchase the new ER Scorponok and he has an issue with the shoulder ratchet now chances are you can exchange the figure at Target or whatever online retailer you got it from but for the most part you get what you pay for for me that’s why I watch reviews and wait to see if the figures have issues but I understand what your saying though

I haven't seen anything from any official - or even semi-official source - that should make use believe that there is a reissue, or a second run (more expensive or otherwise), or anything that includes the new shoulder ratchet (other than of course Brawl coming with one replacement shoulder ratchet).

Usually when a 3rd party figure has a second run or sort and if the price is raised technically it’s usually a rerelease of that figure and it would fix minor issues with the initial figure sometimes there’s no confirmation or news I would check out TFSource they have a second run version of Incursus on there

TFSource pretty frequently marks up figures, even when they're still from the previous run - for example, check out their $50 mark-up on Fans Toys Magnum, $60 on Fans Toys Iceman, etc. Heck, I ordered a Master Made Diabolus Rex from there two weeks ago for $169.99, but now they have it listed, mysteriously, for $189.99. I wouldn't take an increased price at TFSource as an indication that this is a second run - especially since (to my knowledge) we have not seen any sign from MMC or from other stores that there's been a second run.

    Right yeah, it obviously isn't.

We haven't seen any sign at all for a reissue for Onslaught (singling him out since that's the main one at the forefront of the convo at this point), just word of mouth. I assume it's an option that's being considered at this point, if we go by the last statement on the matter from @hardreturn mentioning the conversation being brought to light behind the scenes. Alongside him mentioning more of the specifics, such as the consideration of either an extra kit to be released or to include namely the fixed hip joints with Onslaught with some of the upcoming Protectobots being discussed. The latter sounding problematic since you can probably count at least one person who's getting the MMC Combaticons but going for, say, Generation Toy's set of Protectobots. Not really helpful, right?

I personally would say, if I was put in the position of decision, to release an extra upgrade kit, but include a couple extra goodies as an extra incentive, to make up for the past issues and to make the hypothetical price a bit more worth it. Say, an extra face or two for Swindle, a couple extra guns for Onslaught and Bruticus, etc.

I have to backtrack and see what everyone's talking about specifically, but I don't think this is just an updated version, but a "version" that addresses a defect...so in your comparison a "lemon". Usually, in a lemon scenario, the manufacturer either recalls to fix, or give you a whole replacement.

Rumors are circulating about a reissue of Onslaught that comes with the upgraded Bruticus shoulder ratchets as seen with Brawl, and then upgraded Bruticus hip joints. Though official discussion within MMC is as far as we know, uncertain about a more official rollout of a second ratchet aside from directly contacting them and coughing up $10 for one.

And if you say it often enough, it might come true!

I suggested this before, but a legends starscream. Doesnt have to transfomr, but could just be articulated and be used to stand on bruticus' shoulder

Hopefully we'll see the first G2 Combaticons listed tomorrow.

What I am trying to get at is that rumors are not actually circulating. One person (not affiliated with MMC) said that it's happening, without any basis for it.

Which is totally fine! I misunderstand and misremember things all the time! It's just that I've seen many many cases on this forum where one person says "Hey, didn't someone say that X was happening?", and literally one page later it's "common knowledge" that of course X is happening, you didn't know that X was happening? What kind of an idiot doesn't know that X is happening??? It just spirals so, so quickly, and then someone who doesn't follow the thread religiously pops in and gets a completely wrong picture.

I'd also like to add, (in the U.S.) recalls to fix/replace, cost the consumer 0...but time. ;)
