And both of those were sh!tty factory work, Rivets not fully installed, bolts incorrectly installed and in Bee's case really bad paint work.

Yeah, considering Tigatron is now 41% off, the pre-order discount really should be more of an incentive.

If they’d just bump it up to 45% now they’d probably sell even more!

 

Shoji Kawamori was one of the original designers behind the Diaclone toys that would become G1 Transformers. Including Starscream, which because of him returning to design MP-52, is what the tweet is in regards to.

Though you may know him better as the creator and writer of Macross. In which he also indirectly worked on G1 Jetfire for.

 

I can't wait for him to fanboy explain why the final releases still have these big QC problems.

I mean someone probably did contact AMJ, hollering taxation is theft, but they mention on the paper invoices that tax is inclusive to cost.

Ouch that would hurt ...especially at that price. Having to take apart and fix both knees on my nearly $400 MP-44 didn't instil me with confidence. Let alone the many stories of MP-47 Hound breakages etc.

I'm still hoping they make Starscream's thighs a bit thicker but I'm sure they almost certainly won't. Ah well.

Back on topic: Im sure 3rd party parts makers will eventually make upgrade kits e.g., coronation set, cape, alternate headsculpt. Heck, I bet the Starscream head that came with MP44 Convoy ver 3.0 will be able to fit this new mold. I sure as heck would be doing some head swapping.

So Im not worried, and 3rd party upgrades will be released like they always do to enhance the figure to one's own personal style. MP Starscream ver 2.0 will be no different.

 

You say that.... but what 3Ps actually make upgrades for MPs anymore? The market is ripe for light-up heads for MP-44. Hell, they could even design a new head sculpt that's more in between the round and square heads, for someone who want a variation of the S1 head. But nothing.

MP-45 needed loads of accessories. Again, nothing.

Apart from some upgrades for MP-10 and a light-up head for MP-29, did Shadow Fisher ever make any upgrades for MPs? And what, we got some new joints for Ultra Magnus and Star Saber, years ago? KFC stopped making articulated hands since MP-31.

Sadly 3Ps seem to put more efforts into designing their own figures instead of making accessories for official. A real shame.


Also, what do you mean an alternate headsculpt for Starscream? Doesn't he have enough already
