Different TFans started experiencing the Transformers franchise at different parts of their lives, and at a different stage of the TF franchise itself.
Many of us started with G1 cartoons.
Some with Beast Wars, Unicron Trilogy, or maybe Michael Bay movies.

We have all been primed by a different series or media.

    What was your entry point?

Mine was G1 cartoons. A couple years of S1 and S2, and then, without ever watching the Movie, a hard transition into Headmasters and Masterforce - which were self contained enough to be quite enjoyable even without knowing what Unicron was!

And you, what was your one entry point, your first cartoon series, movie or comicbook?

My first TF series was the G1 cartoon repackaged as G2, but Beast Wars is the biggest TF memory of my childhood.

I have been a fan since Bumblebee and Wheeljack took those energy conductors on Cybertron in the very first episode of the G1 cartoon.

My first was an episode of Energon but I didn’t watch any more because I thought that it was shit. The show that made me a fan when I tried again was G1 season 3. So I guess that’s what I should vote for?

I watched prime and G1 at the same time, so I guess those are the two pieces of transformers media that got me interested.

I started with Bayformers, and so I enjoyed the concept of sentient transforming robots fighting a war. I then immediately went to Prime, and when I couldn't find a time to watch it, I went to G1.

I have to ask you, how is it possible that when looking for the first type of transformers fiction that fans were introduced to, that you somehow neglected to list The Very First TF Fiction to be released to fans?

My first tf fiction was the one that started it all, the Marvel Comics

The 2007 Transformers movie, saw twice in theaters once with my parents and once with my sister. Which led to me watching Season One of the original cartoon through a (now defunct) DVD rental store and that winter with the premiere of Transformers Animated.

Cybertron. I may have watched a single episode of Energon, but I was far too young to remember it if that even happened (all I know is that I had some toys from Energon).
