Probably referring to the Machine Boy/MFT OS of Generations Cliffjumper.

MB Legends OS Cliffjumper - TF - SirToys.com

MFT had the repaint wave listed as part of their release chart, so it's reasonable to believe there was some deal made with Machine Boy, or they were one in the same in some way. See MFT 1-6 advance series.

Hot Soldiers and MFT were the same company, different brands. So yes and no. Only one mold

Yeah I know, it was a different crew though under mech planet and all, then they had differences and split off from the company to the result of MFT being established. So I don't really consider that cj being an MFT figure. It'd be like saying the dx9 dinobots are a NewAge release since the same designer that was at dx9 jumped ship and designed na cosmos and a few others. But I get what you're saying, same difference and all.

Right right forgot about that one, that's going way back to the beginning. Think the op was talking recent though. Wouldn't send him advice to go get a UT headmaster kinda thing though.

yeah the small stumpy arms kill it but at the same time, seems a proper homage to the old G1 toy which had the stumpy arms. can't wait to have Magic Square and New Age have their try at Wheeljack. Jackie is a favourite TF of mine.

They made one under the Machine Boy brands some years ago now. But as I said before that earthrise one is around the same size and at least has an earth car mode and a nicer head - so it's a reasonable placeholder.

The Hot Soldiers one is nice enough though on the small side perhaps, but they look nice enough with MFT's Huffer and Pipes I feel. & some might like them a bit small, you can kinda get a consistant size going if you mix and match - like Magic Square's Cosmos is surprisingly big - so that he sort of counts as legends or legends plus.

It can bit a bit confusing to have so many size options, and there is always the ACTUAL legends to scale things too as well.

I guess I don't get to obsessed about perfect scale as I tend to buy all the size so I just mix and match as takes my fancy.

I mix and match between all the figures. I find it looks better to have a clear impression of scale especially at this size. Minibots should be mini and not just slightly shorter than a car bot. Combiners should recreate that feel when your first see them tower over the the other bots as a kid. I used to have nothing but Legends+ figures but then I went and got newage bee and it ruined it all for me. He looked so much better next to prime than the hotsoldiers version. I like being able to use figures from every company. Lets me experience it all.

I have a large MP display but I find more joy in my legends shelves.

My general rule of thumb for myself is:

Voyager/leaders legends+
Deluxe: Magic square
Minibots: Magic square/newage whatever I think fits best.

I passed on MST Trailbreaker, but had their version of Hoist for a bit. It's so close to being great, but the shield generator full spectrum multi-sensor being attached to a thin and sort of floppy panel really bugged me. It felt like it was gonna get knocked off without being noticed, and end up somewhere in the depths of the carpet.

If MFT fixes that, I'd probably pick up a Hoist from them, even if it would be too tall next to my mostly NA bot collection. Of course, I'm also wanting NA to do a version, too. :lol

yeah that sensor falls off constantly - I may have to thicken the part a bit with nail polish.

Vallejo Reducer.

I'll never don't give up to recommend my method. Everyone who tried this, never go back to use nail polish, floor polish, etc. Pure polyurethane. Very liquid. Use a half drop, move the articulation, let it dry several hours, then use another half drop. Do it till obtain the tightness you like. Normally for me, it works with the first or second drop. No more. No peeling, no flaking. Invisible to the eye. Just perfection.

In my opinion I'll never put KiKi or floor polish on a figure... Parfums, wax, cleaning chemicals mixed with water and polyurethane... I don't know how the people is capable to use this things instead pure polyurethane.

Vallejo Reducer it's a commom product for reduce paints, very cheap. You won't finish the bottle in your whole life.

The formula for "future" is only available in North America, so if you have a similar product in Spain, it is certainly not the same thing as what we have.

"Seeking a primary source, I sent this list of names to S.C. Johnson for clarification. A company spokesperson wrote back, “The formulas for the products you shared are all different and not identical to the formula for Pledge FloorCare Finish. The formula used to make [PFM] is only offered in the United States and Canada.”" -- In the past, it was Future | Finescale Modeler Magazine

As you say, it may not be pure, but I have been using it for years and it has never caused any harm. Only thing is, if you manipulate the joint often, you may need to reapply until the coat is thick enough.

I'd love to try the one you mentioned, but I doubt I will ever run out of future in my lifetime... the bottle is huge and it takes just a tiny drop at a time lol

If you have any white craft glue/ PVA that can grip a bit better that nail varnish- while still allowing a plastic part to be removable. I find it useful for things I want to stay in place while minimising the chance of breaking things if I want toget them apart.

By the way, I don't know if you can send me an image or a thread, or maybe just tell me with your experience, if Rodimus Prime Mech Fans, it is the size of Blaster, because I know that the 2 are 12, but Optimus Prime HS is 12.5 cm., I don't know if I'm wrong.

And another question which Autobots enter into the Optimus Prime load, I will appreciate it if you answer me at 2 questions

1) Rodimus and MFT Blaster are basically much the same heigh. HS Optimus is taller but not by much. i have three figures but I haven't looked at them for quite a while now.

2) Are you talking about HS Prime's trailer? If so, TW Whiskey Jack, NA Datsun Bros & Bumblebee fit inside the trailer. NA Jazz does not, his wide fender flares get in the way. I can't recall if MST Lambros - Sideswipe & Red Alert - fit in the trailer.

Well, thanks for answer me, because I have HS Optimus Prime, and his size is 12,5 cm, but I saw one picture than Rodimus Prime and Optimus have same size, but I know that Rodimus is 12, but Optimus is 12.5, I don't know it's confusing
es la mejor foto que puedo tomar para verificar / comparar la altura sin romper la regla. Diferencia de altura muy insignificante, en mi opinión.

28822327 [/ ATTACH] [/ QUOTE]

Well, thanks for the photo, but my Optimus seems than he's more taller than Rodimus and Blaster for 0,5 cm. ツ
