I got a set in Clackamas Oregon yesterday. However someone came in about 20 minutes later looking for another case they had in stock, but an employee suddenly started to say they are street dated. So best of luck…

 

Hah, I have to swing by Target on the regular for pickup of office supply orders and after restocking wave 1 about 4 weeks back my local store finally restocked deluxes!

With another case of wave 1. Is this the latest example of January product still shipping? How bad did Covid screw the supply chain for product this old to still be in circulation?

 

Still waiting on wave 2 besides Snapdraggon. He is the only thing past wave 1 of Earthwise I have seen in stores. 

 

Found wave 2 Deluxes this morning at Target, with no sign of any wave 3. I had recently received the majority of wave 2 through Amazon, so I only picked up Smokescreen. It was nice finding these at retail. I am also ready to find wave 3 as well as the Walgreens Bluestreak. Hopefully they start to show as well in the next few weeks.

My wave 3 has not shipped from bbts but its being found at retail??

 

Is this somehow different than any other time you've pre ordered from BBTS?

Often times I will pre order regular retail waves on Amazon and if I find the items at retail I'll cancel my pre orders. Earthrise wave 2 was the first time I've ever received a new wave via online pre order before I had found it at retail in the last, I dunno, five or six years.

 

Oh, you must be new 'round these parts. lol

No, seriously. BBTS was among the first to get stuff for the longest time, they were the go-to retailer. Then, something happened around POTP and they started lagging behind a good bit. And it got worse with time.

Now, they're among the absolute last to get anything. Even Hasbro Pulse gets stuff before they do and they're among the worst, time-wise.

You'll find stuff at retail long before BBTS, these days. It's a shame.

 

I found Trailbreaker, Sunstreaker, and Runamuck, but I couldn’t buy them because they’re not suppose to be out yet!

I'm just going to go ahead and ask has anyone else had this happen to them? Be told they couldn't buy any of Wave 3 because they're not yet released officially?

I had Runamuck, Trailbreaker, and Sunstreaker. I was SO happy to have found them I thought I was dreaming then I had them taken away...

 

Happened at another Target in town based on our sightings thread...after someone had bought a set earlier that day. But another Target had them today and I picked up a set no problem. The street date thing is pretty stupid, especially so since it doesn't seem to be adhered to on a consistent basis.

 

Are there certain areas that tend to get shipments first? I recently moved from Missouri to South Carolina and I still can’t locate any Deluxe waves after 1.

 

I ran my mouth about never seeing wave 2 delux and one of my Targets had the wave. Waiting on wave 3

 

First time pre ordering and I ordered from the slowest place!!
