Have to agree with @Napalm the Airwave/Hothouse bod is perhaps the most limited of the Modulators thus far, if they'd just pushed it to one lateral clip point, or designed the ramp end arm so that it could be used to make a corner could have pushed him to greatness. As it is he's not quite modular enough IMO.

'Streak II: QC Boogaloo is a Mixed Bag, back end of car mode goes in *Tight* without foot-poppin' BUT he's still pretty sprung on the side tension front, tried a cheeky swapping at the waist - and there was no improvement on either side of the swap! Plus once returned to their original state, and whilst returning to robot, I spotted what I'd missed going to car, his right shoulder area has to flex to lock his right arm in, he's ever-so-slightly squiffy at the shoulder so it turns out my secret backup hand is a Busted Flush!  
Given the state of both of 'em I feel I'm going to have to abandon the Toy Galaxy spirit of Dan Larson but also kinda not by hanging on to the pair of 'em, both out of a greedy self-preservation of collection, to have a spare in case one of 'em gives out to their own fundamental stresses, and also because I can't in good conscience pass on what could be a ticking timebomb of QC Lemon to someone else.
Striking this one up as a Win/Loss!  

I have a sneaking suspicion that the Goldilocks factor is the align of the "spine", that red central torso and lever structure has to get pinned pretty much perfect, otherwise minor torsion turns to sprung parts with almost the spring to qualify as a Jumpstarter!

Cheers, I've been trying to think along those lines for the most part, just gets a bit tricky sometimes with my Mum's constant gloomy outlook on everything.

The biggest indicator is from the furry fella himself because if he was in any real pain or anything he'd not have been chasing Rebecca round as usual pretty much every day and the thinning fur that raised the alarm wouldn't have started growing back already so just gotta be patient a bit longer.

Vet just called and the blood tests came back with an all clear!      

He just wants him to come in for one more check because the initial x ray showed some sort of reading that indicated a possible problem around the adrenal gland and wants to make sure but very relieved to get that news.

It's so rock solid, even with the rear treads on just that one peg point, that I almost feel it's by design, a hidden official mode like Ironworks' shuttle launch ramp - except it's like they forgot a second 5mm port on the gadget arm that makes it possible? Yet the thigh treads have the perfect angle on their front clipped corners for lining 'em up for this?

Whatever, I am Well Chuffed, and much more enamoured of this clunky red bugger now that I can concertina that carrier mode into something more tank-ishly deflective.

Popped into both of the local smyths today, they are becoming a wasteland of hoists and ironworks. Not much wave 2 left and it doesn't look like they are receiving any more. Hopefully wave 3 is arriving soon!​

 

I recall reading something somewhere about kapow saying they are not getting slitherfang and rung after all, is this right?
