According to @Pixelmaster, the next G1 Megatron will be in 2022 and there's a small chance he'll be a helicopter. He also claims the next Blitzwing will be 2022 at the earliest.

2022 is also the fifteenth anniversary of Animated, a cartoon in which Megatron was a helicopter and Blitzwing was one of the main Decepticons. So maybe new Animated toys will be released in other toylines a la RED Arcee from Prime?

It is specified that the Megatron will be a G1 Megatron, which is why this is titled "Animated-influenced toys".

 

can we get a new lockdown and lugnut(i want them) maybe a slipstream as well

 

I would love a 15th anniversary line for Animated.

 

Well, how many times can you make Megatron a tank before "been there, done that" starts to set in? Also, Hasbro apparently can't figure out how to do a decent tank mode without resulting in a big backpack...so may be this is their attempt to finally give us a true looking G1 Megatron in robot mode by losing the tank treads, Animated homage notwithstanding.

 

Man more Prime and Animated figures would be great. Especially since both shows were prematurely canceled. Animated's Season 4 would have been just amazing.

 

I would prefer that Hasbro complete the Seekers and make the Coneheads too.

And start working on the Animated Constructicons.  

 

Man, I really hope the helicopter G1 Megatron is finally the sleek, low-kibble robot mode we've needed.

But honestly, I even think a jet mode based on the TR Blitzwing version would work well, as that barely had any kibble. It just needed to lose the tank parts and have the proportions tweaked some.

 

If it gets us G1ized versions of Lockdown, Bulkhead and Slipstream then I'm in. If it's actually styled like animated then I'll be able to skip

 

I generally prefer Megatron to stand out from the Seekers. Also, helicopters are great alternatives since it will give him his sword in robot mode and allow him to harness his mega cannon as undercarriage without sacrificing aesthetic. At least, IMO.

I'd take Lugnut too, but don't need him since I got the RTS one. A bigger one would be nice though and the RTS one could be repurposed as Clobber  

 

i own none of the ones i mentioned before, and thus, i want them(really would like to buy multiple slipstreams for some customs

 

Wonder if this is where the inevitable titan redo of the ark may end up.

 

I've got the old Lugnut and Slipstream, Slipstream really needs a good figure though.

That would make a good opponent for Jetfire

 

Absolutely zero interest in Animated toys that fail to grasp the show's unique style, or toys of characters that already had figures in the first place.

Wake up me up when they do Leader Lugnut or constructicons.

 

This feels more like a speculation thread given that other then the rumored Megatron being a copter there's no real confirmation that the other toys will drew heavy Animated influences. That being said I'd be more then on board with seeing some Animated love for 2022 along with celebrating Armada's 20th anniversary as well.  

 

On the one hand, I'd love more Animated figures...

On the other, I'd like to see something refreshingly new...Like Beast Wars was in the 90's.

Oh wait. This is Hasbro I'm talking about.

Silly me...It'll be another rehash of G1.

 

At the very least, a commander class Omega Supreme please!  

Or use the engineering from Kingdom Titan Class Autobot Ark / Last Autobot with all new parts to make Animated Titan Class Omega Supreme / Ark!
