Dino will probably be the highway chase scene but if he came with one where he intimidated those humans at the beginning of DOTM would be cool.

It would be cool if Grindor came with a backdrop of the warehouse in ROTF instead of the forest.

Sideways should be the alley where he jumped through the house and that same backdrop can be used for ROTF Sideswipe too.

Demolishor should be the highway overpass he crashes through.

Que should be the Autobot base where he gives Ironhide his guns.

Hatchet will be highway chase scene which is fine since that's the only scene he's in.

If they do the twins it would be funny to have a backdrop of the tarp that they scanned new vehicle modes behind so you could do a little stop motion of them walking behind the backdrop and driving away in vehicle mode.

The Fallen should be the aircraft carrier he's clinging onto when he arrives on Earth.

Frenzy's should be the seat he's hiding under when he's on Airforce One.

ROTF Bee should be the garage when Sam tells him he can't come to college.

DOTM Bee should be the penthouse scene here he drops the chandelier.

Devcon should be the street he's on at night patrolling to kill humans in DOTM.

If they do the classic 1968 version of Bee from AOE it should be from the KSI scene where he first sees Stinger or the scene where he fights with Drift at night after they see the video of Leadfoot getting killed.

There's so many more but that's all I can think of now.

I honestly think Hasbro could have given something like that.

Years back they released a cardboard pop up playset with the G1 repaints of the AOE Dinobots for SDCC.

For this boxset they could have easily included a thick sheet of cardboard that you could fold to make your own pyramid to let Devastator climb. That would have been an easy addition that could have added to the value of the set.

 

Yeah, the ss86 backdrops are much better than the normal ss ones, and i say this as fan of the normal ones.
Sentinel shouldve come with this one

instead of the same one that comes with most of the DoTM figures.
I hope a future Que figure comes with the NEST base from the movie.

 

I don’t want the mpm line to waste its 2-3 figures we get a year on repainted or minor touch ups. Prime is good, but there’s many other options if you want a good movie prime with the bmb or lt-02, the starscream repaint is probably inevitable, and Ironhide needs touch ups, but I don’t think it warrants a new figure, the upgrade kit helps a ton. I would prefer if they continue the mpm line to do new characters like blackout, brawl, sideswipe etc. That is way more exciting than repainted/slight touch ups.

 

I just got SS Bumblebee Blitzwing, and the part of one of his wings, that's attached to his arm, has a bit of plastic the other arm doesn't have, which prevents that wing from coming together properly. Anyone else have this issue? It looks like it is just molded that way.

 

I find some of them default to the generic "final battle" background.
2007 Megatron would have been cooler with the Sector Seven hangar for example.


Also SS86 Scourge may be the only figure I'd want to display with the backdrop - the reformatting scene is so cool and the backdrop allows you to pose him just like that.

 

They're probably gonna do a "frozen" Megatron in the future.

 

speaking of the future, i wonder what happens after studio series. sure, the MPM line will be there, but I dont think Hasbro will leave bayverse so abruptly. what if, 7 years from now, we get Studio Series 2: Electric Boogaloo.
Also, i have these guys on my table, and for some reason, its super calming.

 

Studio Series is supposed to continue with the 2022 movie. Until then there’s still a number of live action stuff that could fit into the line.

Hell I’m all for a new wave with movie accurate Bumblebee movie figures.

Here’s some I want(Bumblebee and beyond):

• Beetle Bumblebee with swappable battle masks(red/blue lenses)
• Blitzwing F-4 esque
• Lockdown with gun able to become gunface
• Leader Slug
• Leader Strafe
• Springer 2007 movie V-22 Osprey concept
• Dispensor
• The dread dog from DOTM

I personally would like another crack at Bumblebee Optimus. The original was scalped into oblivion and many of us couldn’t get one, and something about it just doesn’t look right. It’s like his chest is too wide or something. And it’s the incorrect Truck anyway.

As @Shmoptimus Prime said earlier, we should do another event where we take photos of a certain character or theme to keep this thread running! Last time we did it was when we posted multiple photos of Megatron to say goodbye to @Megatron118 and I think we all had a blast! (although it was a shame to see our friend go.) What do you think? If you'd like another event to take place, what would you want it to be on?

 

I would love if they redid the decepticon drones and Dreadwing from a movie game (can’t remember which)

 

With a little bit of distance and camera angling, MPM Ratchet and BA Prime can scale better together!

 

We’re having the 2nd year anniversary of the release of the Bee Movie this December so that could do for now.

Also, next year is DOTM’s 10th anniversary.

Or for something closer, since it’s Halloween in 2 weeks how about we post our orange figures?

 

Yeah the video game characters are really cool designs. I really liked those Combaticons and I think that their designs would mesh well with Brawl if they ever got toys.
