    He's good looking.

(but, yeah the guy's a douche, but he's got a point. Also I hate Venkman. I'm not really found of those movies too to be honest)(the cartoon on the other hand...)

    ***********

Speaking of trilogy, I'm playing some DKC3 right now and while it has horrible chara-design and isn't nearly as awesome as the previous two in other regards, also shame there's only two "heavy" playable characters, but I still find it to be a really cool game. Eveline Novakovic delivers some nice partitions, there's some great level design and new ideas, no really, it's cool.

Thing is, I'd hesitate to say my Smokescreen is poor - he's very, very good. Not a thing to complain about. Just Bluestreak is better. Smokey is tight, Bluey is tighter, The deco is nicer too, with the painted wheels and tail lights. If anything Smokey feels like top end retail. Bluey feels a bit premium.

So, like in the US where you had to consider the Tax before paying for anything except paper goods? Used to annoy the crap out of me. I'd be like 'Oooh, $2.22 for 2 burgers and fries? Yes please!' and then I'd get there and have to add the fucking tax on and not be able to afford it then.

    THAT MAN IS A WALLY-WICK.

Any chance of dumbing that down for me? I went crossed eyed about half way through.

I wouldn't even call him a villain. A dick, sure. But he was doing his job for the sake of the safety of the city, and given how he tried to be firm but fair when he first turned up, I'm not surprised he went total dick mode after getting the Venkmann treatment. I wonder how it would have gone if any of the other guys had talked to him in the first time.

As for 2016.... not the abysmal dumpster fire I was expecting, but not good. Not even ok. Still a bad movie. I went in expecting to hate Patty and like blonde one based on the trailers, but I found myself liking Kirstin Wig's character and Patty the most (I really can't remember names of that film and I don't care enough to look them up). But I like Kirstin Wig in general, so that doesn't surprise me. Blonde one was just trying way too hard and Mcarthy I have never found funny. She's good at what she does I guess, I just never found her style of humour funny. It's just shouting loud noises. Doing it Extreme Ghostbusters style would have been the best way to do it. Have Winston as the guy who is mentoring the girls, Ernie Hudson is always up for stuff and he probably would have fit in that style of comedy a bit better than Ray. At least it looks like Afterlife is going that route.

Started watching Star Trek Lower Decks. I originally skipped it as the trailer just looked like Rick and Morty in space, and that had no interest for me but watching some clips of the later episodes, seems it has it's moments so giving it a shot. 3 episodes in and.... yeah, it's better than I expected. Not great, but not bad.

Read through that twice and still can't understand it. Is it placing the onus on every single business online entity outside the UK to register for UK VAT?

Hey I never knew about that Wally Wick change. Funny though. Although I have no idea what a wally wick is. Another target exclusive ?

Also yeah @Insurgent. In my canon there's no Murray, it's John Candy there and Peck and him have an absolute blast. They agree to do the right thing and work with better environnement ethics and then proceed to a marvelous polka live cession.

If anyone can understand it it's not a proper policy...

I just found out about it because william shatner was saying he wouldn't be able to sell to the uk from his merch store because the cost of adcitional paperwork and staffing would be too high. I guess it be like amazon us currently does working out the added vat cost at their end - but smaller companies will struggle.

For fuck sake, as if it isn’t going to be hard enough as it is to get stuff through fucking Kent. Do we reckon some places will now look to stop shipping to the UK because of this bullshit. At least Amazon US already have a system for this bollocks in place but don’t know how eBay sellers are supposed to work it out

    Well that was.. scary!
I can't see myself making an effort to watch that again. I spotted a lot of the original cast popping up - how much make up did Weaver have on? Jeez!
I love McKinnon in The Goldbergs but not so much in this - other seem pretty throw away, sorry. o_O

Ghostbuster Afterlife can't come quick enough! ;)

EDIT: Oof, dedicated to Ramis too. And the end of credit grasp at Zuul? FFS!

God only knows what Breckshit will do for toy acquirement here in NI...

Far as anyone can tell we'll remain under certain EU laws (don't ask, nobody knows), items coming here from the rest of the UK will incur extra costs through paperwork alone as a result, and even at a basic level Smyths is an Irish company who can't sort out home distribution even now!

If things get really mad, I can also claim to be an Irish citizen of the EU under the Good Friday Agreement and the trade agreement Team Hair-do is threatening to break... This is just Hasbro-levels of wankery.

Mind you, on the off-chance NI becomes the place to get TFs through the Irish Republic, I could be your friendly robot dealer :D

Seems that way, or maybe they are hoping that Alibaba and Ebay will work it out for their users, so they can easily sell to the UK.

All in all it does sound like it's gonna be a right pain in the ass.
(Or the smaller sellers might get a free pass and the government will just focus on the big players. You gotta have some hope.)

    Thanks Bre*iteers, Thaxiteers.

Speaking on shipments, anyone else still waiting for their Breakdown/Vehicon set? Mine was supposedly posted on Friday 9th by RM48, and it's still not arrived, here's hoping it comes tomorrow.

Locally at least and because only one RM member can be out, they've been letting stuff build up for a few days then alternating between letters and parcels when they've had to. RM aren't helping one bit, and when a simple cold means you can't come in...

This morning saw a squirrel sat on a fence with his tail up his back and over his head like a hat, nibbling on a full piece of bread.

Saw a few squirrels bouncing around through the day.

Just saw a fox trotting casually down the road outside my house.

    It's been a day.

When all of a sudden an old suscriber from a channel terminated more than 2 years ago send you this:
"As for you, I hold a great respect for your contribution to this platform... stay safe during this quarantine and thank you for everything you've done for us."

I think it's because the number of tax applicable items will surge, because everything from the EU will be taxable. But rather than processing it here (meaning significantly more work) they would rather put the onus on foreign companies ('Amazon.com add taxes at point of purchase!' they'll bleat)... but of course, most won't.

Which gives them a lovely excuse to fine us, or charge a Brexshit admin fee. Or some kind of extra levy (ala the Parcelfarce 'admin fee').

    This is IMO of course.

    *sigh*

It's like the fates are conspiring to stop me buying plastic robits.
