look no offense but your'e a bengals fan? shouldn't you be used to this? it's like a browns fans shocked they went 0-16
i can't remember the last time rodgers threw 2 ints that close together...one for a td and one for a td the very next play at that
The one you finally get to watch is the first one I actually had to miss in a while since I had to clean out my grandfather’s house. Still, I’m elated to see the Steelers smack the Browns back down to the realm of irrelevance. Great game all around by the offense and especially the defense. I’m worried a bit for the future with Devin Bush tearing his ACL. The last time the Steelers played without a speedy Inside Linebacker like Bush was directly after the Shazier injury and our defense was shit, and it led directly to Leonard Fournette and Blake Bortles knocking them out of the playoffs. Granted, I like the rest of our defense as a whole a lot better now too.
Watch some Clemson games this year. They probably won’t lose a game all year long. Trevor should be worth it as long as the Jets don’t screw up their next coaching hire too. As for the Tampa-Green Bay game, Tampa did the same thing that San Francisco did to them twice last year; which is why it still makes no sense to me why the Packers drafted replacements for Aaron Rodgers and Aaron Jones rather than fixing their run defense or getting a reliably good receiver besides Davante Adams
Adding to the Chernobyl fire we are, Jets are trading a DT to the Bucs NY Jets trade nose tackle Steve McLendon to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Washington now in last place in the worst division in the league. Seems about right. As an aside, how is Gase not fired yet?
The general consensus is that the Jets owners are intentionally tanking the season (meaning 0-16) so they get the #1 overall draft pick next year so they can acquire Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence and hopefully with him on the team they’ll actually be able to return to the team they were when Mark Sanchez and Rex Ryan took them to back-to-back AFC Championship games (As @optimusmegas said, “Suck for luck”). So once they have Lawrence, then most likely they’ll drop Gase.
Yeah that's probably it. Plus if they fired him that would likely mean Gregg Williams would be the coach which isn't exactly appealing. And the team ownership is possibly distracted by other current events. Patricia might have saved his job at least for the time being with the Lions strong showing yesterday. So I guess ghouls like me who revel in coach firings are going to have to wait for a while.
