While her pic wasn't Hound, I have him and my advice is stay away until they announce they fixed him. He looks amazing, is a blast to pose, but he isn't worth it because he is slowly self destructing...

I'm proud to present one of the best purchases I have made recently.

Masterpiece Tigatron is probably one of the most successful beast modes from the MP Beast Wars line. Is just a beautiful looking tiger from basically any angle, quite different from Cheetor.

Speaking of which, while it was initially thought that Tigatron would simply be an oversized version of MP Cheetor, they couldn't be more different due that the transformations are incredibly different. Tigatron's transformation is... involved to say the least, at times it feels overly complicated and there are some steps that feel kinda dangerous which is something sadly common in this line.

But my God, is the transformation worth it. This is a gorgeous looking bot as well with many details that are so prominent in MP BW. The accessories are also pretty cool, particularly a fan of the puzzle head Megatron, but I'm definitely not putting the missiles on Tigatron's arm because I just know they're gonna break. The usual issues are also present sadly like the paint chipping which should be fixed by now.

Family of felines. They look so good together.

And here's my MP BW collection so far. Really happy with most of them and I really hope that the next MP is Airazor (but I'm not putting her alongside Tigatron because their relationship was always ugh).

TCracker’s last post on the board was in this thread. It currently has 106 likes. That brought a tear to my eye.

Oh well, sadly I didn't get a chance to finish. Starscream mocks his failure!

THX! Its foam insulation board. I was inspired by DFormers on this forum to make stands to compliment the figures. They make the detolfs look a lot better.

Posting some of my absolute favorite Beast Wars MP pics out of the ones I've ever taken:

Is there a thread or a post where you go into specifics of how you're going about doing this? Because it looks amazing!

Wow very cool! You just hit that with a glossy spray paint then? Looks really professional.

Shockwave shall remain as I leave him

    Someday!

Thanks! There's no thread, and to be honest I might just start all over again from scratch. I started painting parts of him summer 2019, but in the interim I discovered that Rit Dyemore works beautifully in dyeing the stock plastic nearly the right shade (as long as it's used carefully!). Ideally I would play around with dyeing a little more first, since certain parts are definitely not intended to be painted and were already showing wear.

Also, after reassembling his hands they were also very quickly showing paint rubbing. A shame, as I'm really happy with the colour @chchchch and I found (even if the paint quality itself was kinda crappy).

Overall lots of lessons learned, but all of it kinda makes me want to just repurchase MP-29+ (for the third time :lol )

Anyway, all packed up for a big move with MP-41, MP-44 and MP-45 in my suitcase!
Plan to buy either MP-36 or MP-36+ (or both!) ASAP, and will look forward to Arcee arriving in a few months. Long live the Masterpiece line!

Satin house paint. I brushed it on since spray paint can melt the foam. I still have to paint some weathering and highlights on it then clear coat it. I did the same on some Autobot bases and it makes it stand out more by adding depth to the panel lines I carved in.

I really do hope you do decide to finish him as is even with the paint chipping. It really looks great and heck even production pieces have paint chipping so you are not alone with that.

Great pics as usual! How many times have you transformed Bee V2? There's a huge amount of paint wear and I'm just wondering how it happened. My Bee V2 has most likely been transformed more often than most of my newer MPs but it's probably still less than 10 times. Mine is still perfect except for one chip on the lower chest that was caused by some extra plastic flash. I cut the flash off with a hobby knife and then painted the chip with Tamiya Lemon Yellow using a pointy brush and no thinner. I just put very little in the chip and it looks like a great match to me. I can't even tell where the chip was and I'm pretty fussy. If you painted a larger area with it, it may be less of a match. I'm not sure.

    @Paco Grande
Thanks. I’ve transformed him a quite a few times, he’s also been broken since the first weekend I had him   The paint chipping is what it is at this point. I don’t really notice or care on my official MPs anymore it’s just a thing that happens. My MP44 is definitely roadworn at this point as well.

Cool, didn't even know dyeing was an option. I'll have to look into that more.
