We didn't get a Cyclonus in potp, but Kingdom Cyclonus is definitely better than the universe version. Even if their faces are about equally crappy and they both use the shitty transformation where the shoulders detach from the torso.

Don't care about Kranix, but I'd love a Quintesson Prosecutor with that.
Deluxe sized Constructicons to top it off.

Jazz is a little bit of a let down they should of gave him more gear & a little more paint! But I love that he doesn’t have door wings as I want Toon looking figs as a kid I never understood why the toon looked so much better then the toys lol! So I’m happy as hell to finally get toon looking figs!

With jazz as u said u have your take & now collectors like me have are jazz! That’s one thing I do like about hasbro doing so many takes on the same fig as everyone gets to pick what one is their fave! Toyhax will give us stickers to give him a more G1/toon look!

I’m def sad he doesn’t have his speakers or even a grapple hook arm but I guess 3rd party ppl will have a hay day making money off us to make him awesome lol!

I was hoping Jazz would have as much fear as HR as he is one hell of a toon looking toy! To me Kup is the biggest let down his top 1/2 isn’t even close to the toon! His chest head arms look really bad! But over all from what I have seen the 86 SS is a 97% win for me!

I just started thinking that radicons is going to have a field day with this stuff,

They'd look brilliant in a "transformers: Devastation" style cell shaded deco

That's not the same as the new SS86 Gnaw and was also a limited release only obtainable in a $70 box set. SS86 Gnaw is a deluxe as well, not a legends class figure

Am I the only one that thinks Gridlock's head is kind of small in Dino mode. Im not sure about Thrust either. I don't know exactly what's wrong. I will still buy him though.

Well, his wings are mistransformed (as in not flipped over) in every image of him, so that may be throwing you off on thrust

SS86 Gnaw is going to be the deluxe that would have been released this year had he won the fan vote.
Y’all don’t think they make the figures from scratch after the vote right? They are obviously on the drawing board in some form and they are then green lit. That means we likely will get every fan vote choice at some point—except for Needlenose because the fates are against him.
But that gives hope for an upcoming deluxe insecticon set.

Oh my god, did I say it was replacing the line? I don't see it anywhere in your quoted text.

Instead of jumping to negative assumptions, just practice literacy and READ.

I offered ideas for WHO they could release, notably with "damage" or something unique to the film.

The two main figures that would have been ground up reworks after the fan vote would be Ultra Magnus and Shockwave, so it does happen. May not have been completely from scratch, but those two are nothing like what we would have gotten if they had won the POTP vote and that's just based on an observation of how the prime modes work vs the more weaponizer style armor of the Siege leaders

Nobody's saying that SS Gnaw was going to be legends, it's just that they released a previous legends, thus it's possible that Legends Wheelie could also be re-released in some way.

My thoughts on the '86 figures.
Scourge is a 100% buy, he looks so much better than the TR version.
Kup I'm not sure, I have the TR one that is a good figure and might very well be good enough for me despite the new one being much more accurate. I guess it will depend on how many other things I'll have to buy when it comes out.
Blurr I'm not a huge fan of the character but if the figure turns out to be really good I might buy it.
Jazz is a buy unless the reviews turns out to be negative.
Hot Rod is a pass, I already have the Masterpiece and I don't feel the need for another version.
Grimlock looks solid in bot mode, a bit off in T-rex mode, but I'm tempted to buy him. The real question is if I can find room for 5 leader class dinobots in addition to the MP scale ones I have since I would definitely want to complete the team. Plus, I'm curious to see if he is really as big as the listing says.

I was just thinking. Is it possible they will re-use the WFC Walmart Bumble Bee for the SS 86 line? Maybe have him come with an exo-suit Spike.

No, SS86 has no overlap with the WFC trilogy, at least not this year.

Thanks for posting this information, even if its not new or the way Hasbro operates with their products. I've been waiting a long time to build a G1 Movie setup and after CHUG years back being the closest before going MP and that turning out to be big fail, I'm back doing it again with CHUG.

Gnaw was my second hurdle and not sure if I should continue to chase the Legends ones from 2017 or wait. The first and biggest hurdle I have now for the Autobots is Ultra Magnus. The Siege one looks like RID version ugly step kid in vehicle mode and the robot mode looks like he had too many drinks the night before and blew chunks on himself.

Decepticon wise, just waiting to see what Galvatron looks like but not really trying to fill in any gaps with the G1 toon guys from there, even for the Autobots. Just the main characters of the movie, if that makes any sense.

I am stuck with a PO on AJ for WFC Bumble Bee, so I will get him, but it would be a nice way to make an annoyingly difficult to get mold available. And still a chance of re-purchase if they included Spike as an accessory, also possibly the pistol that came with the Centurion set.
