I think at least 1 Sharkticon used a gun in Five Faces of Darkness, but could be mistaken

^ Still can’t actually pre order these, but good to get confirmation that they are $19.99.

This is a great point, its especially noticable in the screenshot with sunstreaker.

Even if they didn't make it metallic gold, a flat gold would also have worked fine, or even a gold plastic similar to what they used on multiple goldbug figures.

I mean, come on, if they used yellow instead of tan/gold for a goldbug figure you all would riot, but yellow on grimlock your fine with o_O

In most frames of the cartoon the deco and animation was simplified, but in some scenes (close up) they did emphasize the shine om the golden areas with shading

Not everyone thinks Starscream 3.0 is an improvement btw (in my opinion it's jarring to look at and very ugly as a figure), your assuming everyone updates their stuff to the most animation accurate thing to release next.

Reality is, that not everyone approaches a collection like you said.

    I'm literally half your age.

I'm interested in some of the 86 figures, I'm also interested in the films, and every other continuity for that matter (but not as much for cyberverse, yes for some designs, just not overall), so no, it may be nostalgia bait to you, but the transformer community is not all middle aged, I would say far from it.

G1 has always been serviced, many times before with tastefully updated designs of characters (which was supposed to be the point of the retail line, and mp, hybrid style, statues, revoltech, reissues ect) so I don't know were you get the idea that it's only getting it's due now.

Speaking of the masterpiece hot rod, now that we have the ss one, it's very noticeable how badly proportioned the mp is, with the flat chest and gangly arms

Thanks Primus Grimlock isn't using gold plastic, we don't want to see a TRex crumbling to pieces.

Guys, by the way, an amazing TRex fight will begin next year with Kingdom BW Megatron facing Studio Series G1 Grimlock on my shelf. A great time for being a Transfan!

    That wouldn't make sense.

But I believe the heel is connected to the rest of the foot see here

The heel is folded under the toe

    Ok, I see it now.

Good to see grimlock such large feet to stand on

I hope the joints are nice and tight, so that it can be posed lifting other bots, similar to how they designed ss blitzwing to be able to hold up bumblebee thanks to it's tight joints

Galvatron was titans return. I know we are getting one with unicron but he's not a mainstream release for most.

We know we are getting him. Rodimus I'm sure we will get too

How you know Gnaw is coming on this line?
He is already in the Pit of Judgement which is tagged in the back as Transformers the movie...

    Oh yeah an accurate Blitzwing...
