Price is low enough that I might buy it for curiosity. I'll first try to get some info about the manga it is taken from, though.

Don't be. It's the same Plastic used in NICEE's Construction.

wow thanks! that is really awesome actually. no super obvious robot hiding underneath although you can tell something is going on because its not smooth underneath like planes are. so somewhere in between aerialbot level lame and valkyrie level awesome but closer to the latter. wish this was bigger but i guess its big enough.

I thought GPS was dead and buried?

Based on Nicee, BFB should be using some great quality plastic.

Yea I think the last notable figure was 2007 proto Starscream. Fingers crossed they cracked the code permanently haha. No pun intended.

    ***Announcement incoming***

For those interested, both The Designer/Creator of this figure, the story of Bird/Binary & Armored Gull and all the awesome mecha designs within it, LAS will be on a livestream tomorrow around this time-ish tomorrow (20 or so hours from now) w/ the CEO, himself, Tenxing Wei.
(Yes, it's in Chinese as it's in china.)

You'll get to see the toy in action. and all it can do, all it comes with etc.

Here is the link for the live stream. where they'll be talking in detail about BIRD/BINARY - BIRD OF DAWN -KALAVINKA.

from all the multitudes of photos i've seen it didn't appear to, no. the hands were always in a generic static pose, and the hands had no features at all. just flat slabs with a slot were the rifles pegged into that folded out from within the arm.

a few screenshots from the live steam early this morning.

Does anyone know if it's inspired by some specific serie, or does it have any reference with some anime/comic/game or something?

It's an original series/design by Las91214, so I don't think they refer to anything at all, apart from maybe slightly inpired by Armored Core?

    Nope.

    It's a fully original series.

The only thing it's tied to is: "ARMORED GULL"

"BIRD/BINARY is a Prequel story to Armored Gull".

On first glace, the robot mode and color reminds me of Graham Aker's Flag Fighter from Gundam 00.

For just $70 at ShowZStore, I might just buy 2 of them. The build quality and paint apps are just astounding! And those various modes, now that's impressive.
