You should get the option at checkout to use the auto conversion or pay in yen. I always pay in yen because every other store I’ve shopped at has a built in conversion fee (including PayPal). Using a credit card with no foreign transaction fee saves at least 3% per transaction (usually more).

 

This is what I use and it’s pretty close to what amazon is charging .

item price - 9% then + % your city sales tax = total before shipping .

The pre Covid amazon global shipping rates were ridiculous cheap. It was long over due for a price increase. Even with the increase in their Dhl shipping rate , their orders are not slowing down . They know their rate is still very good compare to other shipping options. So the new shipping rate is here to stay .

I just bought a Diaclone Reboot Trivers Trijetter from AE a couple of weeks ago and shipping was $26.87. The Trijetter is in a box about the size of an MP carbot. It took over a week to get to me and tracking was confusing. I’m in Oregon, so I’d think shipping from AE to CA for a Star Cream v2.0 would be at least $30 if not more.

Is there any official confirmation that Thundercracker and Skywarp are coming? I really would prefer one of them over Starscream, but with MP 52 being around 240 euro shipped from Amazon.jp, if they end up as TTMall exclusives they could easily cost more than 300 euro and that's a bit much.

 

I would say that it is a good assumption they will come and they will be official numbered releases this time. The last versions weren't even up to previous Masterpiece standards and TakaraTomy knows this (it's likely they did not do the final colors on them but rather Hasbro Asia as there are glaring issues TakaraTomy has not gone for in the MP line since MP-10).

Not only is this mold an improvement, but their color schemes will be significant improvements as well. Cheap and easy way to finally get some Decepticons again. If Nemisis Prime can be MP-49 at well over 2 hundo, these guys certainly don't need to be exclusives at this point. Masterpiece has not really shown any real limits to its success so far.

Things like Sunstorm/Rainmakers/Air Warriors/Ghost Starscream/G2 version/etc are your likely TTMall style releases, if and when they happen.

Coneheads? I think they will go there again, but it will be quite awhile before they do so. But again, I think they will be main line releases the second time around with color schemes perfected.

 

So I really wanted to get this one. But I am really afraid to see some issues like on MP-44 or MP-47. I don't really mind them as long as they are easily fixable and lasting. So I will wait for your reviews and decide afterwards

Also, the math is checking out for me. Amazon Japan order dropped to ¥21409. I live in Dumbfuckistan, aka California, specifically in Glendale where tax is 10.25%. Divide price over tax and it comes to ¥19419, just like many others have seen.
