If that's accurate, then Jazz is a good .5 of an inch shorter than Siege Sideswipe or Earthrise Bluestreak. The top of his head would come up to right about to their shoulders.

Rodimus is a YEAH BOI, love the guy and other than the TFA toy for Rodimus there hasn't been a good Rodimus toy so this is a must buy, Scourge is pretty good, he will look great with CW Cyclonus, grimlock is okay, the robot mode looks great however the Dinobot mode is akward looking, kup and jazz are decent at best,I'll stick with me potp jazz(even with it's issues) and generations kup, then there's blurr..........dafaq?

Upon further comparison, Jazz is closer to 5in. That picture of Scourge, Jazz, and Grimlock has Jazz at just below Scourge's faction symbol. This puts Grimlock at about 8.8in, give or take.

Ordered Scourge, Hot Rod, and Grimlock. The others have better options out there: I have T30 Springer and United Jazz but need to get Generations Blurr. I might cancel Grimlock and pick up the MP if I find a good deal between now and April, I'm not a huge fan of the forearm gaps and they're only going to bug me more as time goes on.

I'm already obsessed with this Grimlock. Toon inspired, but not slavishly accurate and bland. The bot mode proportions make him look powerful as hell but still dynamic, and overall it just nails my personal ideal G1 aesthetic. All it will need is some metallic gold instead of that yellow, but that's no problem at all. Bring on Slag!

That's mind boggling. Where I live SS is more expensive than non-SS equivalents, and I always chalked it up to the extra cost of the diorama.

Judging by the other responses I've gotten, I'm just as surprised myself.

The figures are pretty cool, but the Studio Series 86 concept sounds like desperation. "Quick, these guys are almost 50 now, we have to get their money before they die! FIRE UP ANOTHER BATCH OF NOSTALGIA!" HasTak has simply been ignoring the 86 movie for all intents and purposes, and now this? We had to stand 10 years of Michael Bay to end up here? Really? So now we're important? Now, all of a sudden, G1 is the bees-knees??? Don't get me wrong, I'll be back to eBay to spend AGAIN money on overpriced figures I already have dozens of versions, but it's kind of a bittersweet victory. Big thanks to that Takara engineer who designed Arcee and kept his promise for accurate figures, that's the hero we always wanted and finally deserved. Still, they could have spared us probably 15 years of pure garbage. Makes me feel abused and exhausted.

I need to find a guide to how slam pins.

In a serious way, i was hoping for a collapsing piece (i know there is the kibble in the animation too, but not the large pajama sleeve kibble).

Oh wow. Can't remember the last time news had me wanting multiple figures... Hot Rod, Kup and Jazz look good for the money... and they shouldn't. I was trying to get out of the game too... So... seems like I'll be extending till after 2021. They keep catching me off guard :'D

Still no sign of the Headmasters on Walmart, eh? So far, all I've got is Thrust and Grimlock...guess I'll continue to wait. Hopefully we see some movie-verse SS in the next few weeks.

Love these, still can't get over how well-done the face sculpts are for Hotrod, Scourge and Jazz while the face sculpts for Kup and Blurr look a little whack.

Well, part of it likely has to do with the fact Porsche still isn't playing nice with Hasbro in terms of licensing and such, so they're covering their asses.

It doesn't bother me too much, and I'm sure Toyhax will provide a set with proper livery and such.

Just wait! People are going to lose their shit when photos come out of Grimlock standing upright, and everyone finally sees that what they thought was a big butt, or a fat tail, is actually Grimlocks main body! And his Dinobot proportions are perfect to G1 86 Grimlock!:lol :popcorn
