I very impressed with what I see:

    Grimlock -
Masterpiece style Leg Transformation that over all looks even better proportioned than the Masterpiece. I was worried they would go for an overly toon simplified aesthetic. Happily surprised. Couldn't ask for a better Grimlock. FYI he has a second hinge in the elbow that is used for his TREX knee not used in any of the pictures.

    Rodimus -
We know this one is amazing mostly due to the early reviewers and they did a better job hyping him up than Hasbro. Excellent.

    Kup -
The early reviewers did this guy a disservice. I can tell that much of wave 1 deluxe budget went into KUP and under better lighting conditions he shines.

    Jazz -
Despite looking like the cheapest Deluxe, he does everything right. I particularly like the feet, and lack of a back pack. The wrist hollows hurt a little but I have a feeling this will be a small deluxe making its minor foibles easy to forgive.

    Blurr -
Honestly, I have never been a huge fan, and here the head looks off to me but he seems accurate enough. I'm open to seeing this mold again with a different head. Its a good candidate for Devcon.

So it does have the basic silhouette of the 935 with a taller greenhouse and shorter doghouse. It has a bumper that is very close to the real 935 but with some obvious changes to protect them from "the German threat" (vw lawsuit :lol ). The car does come off as more cartoonish, but is does actually resemble the character model a lot. The funny part is that if you removed the car details it would proportionally look like a modern Porsche 911!

    the spoiler is weird though...
    Toyhax will fix the paintjob.
    Its still cool

    Oh I’m sorry.

i thought this was a discussion thread where we could post our own opinions on the topic at hand.

Didn’t realize we were only allowed to praise and fellate it.

This is a large figure and those aren’t small gaps. They are going to be easily visual in almost any pose.

it’s also going to be at a higher price by default. Not everyone lives in a country where the prices get heavily discounted in store (probably by accident).

so yeah. This is kinda a major gripe and I’m allowed to have.

But you can sure do you if want I guess. Maybe even create an appreciation thread if that’s all you want to do?

I was at Target earlier and they still have both the clone 2 pack and Skywarp/Thundercracker 2 pack as well as Leadfoot on the shelf. NECA and G.I.Joe may be one thing, but when it comes to Transformers exclusives at Target I wouldn't be particularly worried.

He's not though, demonstrably. He's Ironhide height, sure, but what makes his price point isn't his size, it's the price point itself. His size is completely irrelevant.

All of the recent target exclusives have been easy to get if you're patient. The clones and seekers were up for order for about a month.

The point though is that Hot Rod didn't interfere in the sense that he stopped Optimus from ding anything. At no point did Hot Rod's actions impede Optimus, if anything he gave him an opening/bought him time.

Really unfortunate that Grimlock is already sold out everywhere! He looks so good lol. All these figures look great!! Something tells me along the line they were meant for WFC Trilogy but were moved along. Something about the details on Grimlock and the portholes on their bodies.
poor scourge is alone in studio series while cyclonus and galvatron are in kingdom, lol

Grimlock is only sold out as Hasbro Pulse and Target. Still available at Amazon, BBTS and Dorkside Toys.

Well I was able to lock in pre-orders with BBTS but of course the target exclusives were sold out. Smh at least I've had generally good luck finding their stuff in stores. Just scored mpm ratchet with $25 off!

Looking at my pre-order tab is really scary. I'm hoping to God that some of this stuff is delayed, lol
