While I'd really like all of the remaining Bayverse Bumblebees, I'd be happy with just the DOTM one since that's my favorite design.

SS86 figures look great, but damn if today was disappointing. I’m happy we’ll still be getting plenty of live action Studio Series so no hard feelings, but seeing so much focus on G1 all the time, especially when the majority of Hasbro’s TF output is already G1-based, does feel rather off-putting.

In other news, ordered myself a DOTM Leader Megatron! Was on the fence for a while because of the figure’s proportions, but I loved the whole premise of Megatron becoming a reclusive and disgraced exile following his little beatdown at the end of ROTF. Hopefully we’ll see what’s new for the line in the coming months.

Been meaning to share my photos of the 115 Workshop YYW-06 Upgrade Kit for Studio Series Soundwave that I picked up from TFSafari.

There weren't a ton of photos of this kit so it was a toss up between this set and the 3D printed guns that were available on ebay. I had always thought the guns in this set were too small but in looking at the screen caps from DOTM they aren't too far off.

Ultimately, I'm happy I went this route. The included chest piece, thigh fillers, and guns make the set well worth the price.

It can be tedious to tab in for alt mode but it blows away the original DOTM voyager. Just wish the hands weren’t made out of PVC.

They're not the best SS toys but I like them still.

Leadfoot is the clear winner of the 3, except for his weapons.
I actually like Roadbuster a lot but tabbing the roof into the hood is hell, you can't see what you're doing and the tab is on a moving panel...
Topspin is alright. The safety reasons guns are not the best and the roof not pegging in securely for robot mode annoy me.

 

The Irony is down here we get shit last. We are literally the southernmost big city in the continental US. The figures come off of crates shipped over the Pacific and trickle from the west coast to the east coast in trucks over about a months time. So I highly doubt somehow Miami got the mother load of Ironhides. And then theres the preorders. Dont hold ill will towards me just because the distribution in your area sucks. (Or your online friends areas) And dont hold ill will towards me because you slept on the pre-order. The figure wasnt that rare. Wish I had taken pictures. Next year youll be on here arguing with me that Earthrise Grapple is rare too.

 

I really wanted to get one of those $25 Ironhide MPMs since he's my favorite character, My Ross doesn't have them- If anyone was willing could someone pick one up and ship it to me? I can pay!

I have the BMB but I would love an official one. I sure hope we still somehow manage to get the Black Apple Inspired Ironhide one day too.... :,(

Youre asking me to "move on" because you believe your opinion is more valid than mine. Ironhide wasnt that rare. And I wasnt lucky, I was just proactive about obtaining him. Now we can move on.

Do you have any substantial first-hand evidence outside of your personal accounts, like in Canada or Europe? It doesn't seem so. I don't see how you're fit to argue this when the only point that you're making fails to take 90% of our entire planet into consideration. It's literally one dude's account from Miami against the rest of the world. The city of Miami doesn't reflect the amount of Ironhides that were sold in Korea, Canada, or the rest of the United States.

I was fortunate enough to get Ironhide on BBTS, but I'll admit that the release of Ironhide just came and went like that. It was a case where either people were able to get him or they weren't. No-one "slept" on something that completely came out of left field unannounced and pulled the rug from under us. Why do you think everyone was complaining about the reveals today? Aside from the exclusion of Bayverse, almost all of the figures announced were Amazon, Target, or Walmart exclusives, which is basically a massive "fuck you" to people outside of the United States.

Maybe you should be more grateful that you were able to get Ironhide instead of treating the people that didn't like they're stupid.
