Shawn S says that Nicholson Joker SHF is coming and Classic Mafex Daredevil and Black Suit Spidey. I asked him if any one is going to do 66 Batman and he said no. Seems to be no interest.

EDIT: like always Shawn S comments are in the chat for the episode.

is this in place of the Netflix Daredevil that was mentioned before or in addition? I’m honestly down for either. I’d have a hard time passing on a good black suit spider-man as well. Joker...while cool, I have to draw the line somewhere.

He said classic here, but he did say a few weeks back Netflix is in the pipeline. That said, it will be years before most of this materializes, look how far behind they are.

Netflix Daredevil and Endgame Thanos would be amazing. Daredevil because, well, Netflix Daredevil is damn good show and it needs more love. I have the Legends figure, and it’s good, but I can see Mafex doing it well. Thanos could be fantastic too if done correctly and in the appropriate size. I have the Select, and while it is better than the Legends and first SHF versions, it can be dethroned. The new final battle SHF looks great, but it’s still too short; if the Mafex version is close to the Select’s height, then I’m in

SHF comic Iron Man and Cap sound intriguing for sure, but the 80 Years Legends are already so near perfect as is, especially Iron Man. The SHFs would have to be mind-blowing to warrant spending import money for them.
But then again I’m a sucker, so maybe they’ll get me lol

I listened to the whole thing, unless it went by quick, I didn't hear anything about Figuarts or Mafex at all really? What time?

It is in the chat that goes along with the episode.

Ok that would've been helpful to know before wasting an hour lol. So who is this guy? Just some internet rando?

I mean I never expected a Keaton SHF, but we've got one. But still there's been a couple other Keatons but no other Nicholson Jokers besides Hot Toys.

Sorry, I thought you may have seen the post I did about two pages back on this. Adam Van Wickler of that very podcast and of Gentle Giant vouches for Shawn S and that is all I need to be sure he is legit. Sorry to make you waste an hour of your time, hope you at least enjoyed their podcast. Apparently he works with import companies. Here is what I wrote a few weeks back:

Just a word of warning regarding the DKR Batman; there seems to be a bit of a bump on the inside of the diaphragm joint. When I bent the figure forwards then straightened it back up, that bump caught on the stomach and took a small bit of paint off. I'm not sure if all of the figures have this, but it's something to watch for.

That I don’t know, I haven’t watched the show in the past week so he may have said something. I know he(Shawn S)is appearing in an episode of Marvel 616 so that lends even more to his credibility if that helps the people doubting his credibility.

Receievd DKR and Hush Batman. Wow those capes, but the figures are so good. Got Miles Spiderman as well. The masked head isnt bad but I prefer the unmasked face.
Will look good next to the Spiderverse figures when they get released.

Just ordered my first Mafex, Gwenpool, off of Mandarake. The box is apparently "heavily damaged", but for about $50 I'll be fine with it I'm sure.

Mandarake is usually pretty good with their "damaged" products. Most of the time it's like a scuff or some shelf wear. If it's more than that like a crushed corner or ripped box they'll usually add additional photos and the prices are usually lower too. Definitely can fetch some good deals if you don't care much for the box!

Miles from Spider-verse seems to be a go at the end of the month - AJ updated my shipping time to a little earlier. Jordan hasn’t been postponed but his date wasn’t updated.

So does the Endgame Thanos rumor have some solid validity/come from a source with a proven track record? Because if that is coming, I can forget about the final battle SHF version. It’s good, but still too short to mix in with Legends (and even other SHFs honestly)

Black suit Spider-Man sounds nice. I wonder how likely Scarlet Spider and Spider-Ben are. Including classic and symbiote, those are the four I always want to share a sculpt.

    Well that was fast!

This figure is adorable and pretty fun! As my first experience with Mafex, I'm pretty happy for the price I paid. To be perfectly honest, ML figures work just fine for me most of the time but here I much prefer the style of Mafex's Gwenpool. Speaking of...

    20201020_230321.jpg

The Mafex is better, as it should be, but I do have to say I wish the pink was a bit more like the ML's. The Mafex's pink has a bit more purple in it than I'd prefer. Also the belt buckle turned out better on the Legends.

The Mafex has a much better likeness to the comics. It's one of my favorite figures in general.

I'm sure she looks like the ML in some comics, but the Gurihiru art is what I prefer by far. Definitely worth the upgrade.
