So, I have heard complaints about Grimlocks use of yellow instead of gold. In the livestream it was said that he didn't have the product in hand to show off because it was going through a deco correction/change. My guess is that yellow will be changed to gold.
Again, these ARE actual movie figures, from the first movie. There have been 69 (heh heh) releases for the live action movies, and 6 for the Animated movie. I don't think live action fans (which I am one of, by the way) are getting cheated. We know there are more figures from both sets coming down the pipeline. It's ok if not everything is something you are interested in. There are lots of other people who are really excited for these (which I am one of, again)
I want a slew of Scourge repaints. Alpha Trion, Devcon, Riptide, Sideways/Noismaze, maybe even Pharma would work.
When has Hasbro ever sold an old mold for less than its original MSRP? You know what else is over done? Constant complaints and whining within the fandom
Live action movie fans are getting cheated G1 gets toys literally like every year and there’s dozens of G1 variants while the movies only happen once in a while when there’s a movie The SS finally gives us what we need We need so many more characters yet they waste resources for stupid g1
I would love a cleanly painted Springer in the SS86 line. I think that would be a very appropriate release. And WTF? So it begins...Transformers Toys Studio Series 86 Voyager Class The The Movie 1986 Autobot Hot | eBay
Actually complaining isn’t over done I’m sick of G1 always getting its way in the franchise we got to move on G1 is over hyped crap that’s gets figure’s all the time
It was likely changed because they're now making the various race car characters with really accurate alt modes, which means that the original numbers (4 for Jazz, 38 for Smokescreen, etc) could fall into some kind of legal issue. It wasn't so much of a problem when something like PotP Jazz didn't look like a real Porsche. Still, the 14 is a bad look.
We've had enough of people calling the film toys crap, we don't need to start stooping to their level. Besides, ok im a movie fan and I still think these look brilliant (aside from jazz) rodimus in particular is an a definite buy (I'm undecided on scourge)

This is kinda what bothers me as a TF collector. So to get 86 figs, I have to buy between two TF lines. Ok, not saying it is a huge issue for all TF fans. But if I wanted to buy a set of 86 figs to keep MISB, I would want them to be in same style packaging. To that end, why even interrupt the SS line for those who want Bayverse stuff. Dumb.
Did they seriously make Thrust have upside down wings? How do they constantly manage to have worse ideas with these? And it honestly baffles me that we're 14 years past the classics mold and they STILL somehow can't think to just make the wing connectors round to allow the wings to flip either way...even after Takara sort of did that with Henkei Thrust and Dirge never mind the RM mold actually having round connectors from the get go.. I'm still gonna get that Thrust but it actually upsets me that they screwed him up like that. Is using yellow really that problematic for people? I get that the toy's chrome is memorable but with how the decoes have been cartoon accurate for the most part lately I would think yellow WOULD be the right choice.
I wouldn't mind a clean Springer either, just not banking on one Actually complaining is pretty overdone at this point, from all sides. G1 is never going anywhere, learn to live with it. If you don't like it, that's fine, but it's the meat and potatoes of Transformers while the movies are like cookies.
Tbh I think TLK is my favorite to watch because every single thing about the movie is so fucking stupid that I find it hilarious
