Last I read the Wal-mart preorders still aren't up yet? I'm guessing the webmaster slept in this morning.

busy at work and wasn't able to stay on top of this. I got shut out of coneheads again, which sucks, but whatever. I hate this new normal of having to preorder everything the minute it's announced.

I was gonna reorder Gigawatt with Runabout to use the toy coupon but it's 2 cents shy of what I need and I didn't feel like spending time on figuring it out. so, just Runabout from Target.

Amazon has all the SS86 so that's in, with a available date of April 2021. And they intend to ship them all separately for some reason. I marked the orders as a gift to prevent getting no-box, hope for the best.

I did manage to eek a Thrust preorder, perhaps they opened a few more or someone’s order didn’t process.
Always keep pressing, Target seems to stock pretty well lately in this regard.

Grimlock looks good but I’ll wait for him to hit stores. I have the OS KO’s and I like the bot mode of those a little better(irrelevant comparison for most). Missed Thrust...as usual w/ Target....

It’s not that he has no articulation. His arms and legs are on ball joints. It’s that he has a disappointing lack of articulation with his knees and one arm locked in permanent 90 degree angles.

I ordered via Amazon but then went to Dorkside. They don't charge tax in my state and I love their customer service. Added a couple of Boba Fett VCs as well. I'll probably cancel the Amazon orders now. I did get Thrust and Runabout on Target. Hasbro is making me miss the majority of my MP figures less and less. These are just more fun and I get to share them with the kids. Saying this...I'm about to preorder MP-52 from Dorkside as well...hard to pass up on a core character like SS.

Don\'t really care about Thrust, but that Micromaster set is worth chasing down for the MASK homages and Motorhead.

Managed to get Thrust and Roundabout along with all 6 studio series figures on Target. I may have made two orders to get that $25 off $100 reward twice

I’m usually up on this but I eat lunch and forgot about the reveal until 12:45. These aren’t limited exclusives so I wasn’t that worried about it.

I'm very torn on Blur. He's way better than the TR version which I have. I probably wouldn't bother if I had the Takara version. The arms are bad. Really bad. I really wish they just turned the front of his car into a shield like the original toy. I'll probably get him. But man, those arms. I honestly think I may just take those pieces off and leave him in robot mode.

I know, right! I was in chemistry and then the preorders went live. Missed out on Scourge, Thrust and Hot Rod. Did cop runabout and some other deluxe from target. The more I look at Kup, the less I want him. Same goes for Blurr. Jazz I’ll have to pass judgement on when I see him in store.

Haha I actually canceled my first Thrust and Runabout Preorder, because I got a bigger discount for ordering 2 Gigawatts, Thrust, and Runabout! :lol

Yeah that would make sense but how are people seeing them? Do you have pics you can send me?

Well, Thrust WAS being sold separately at Target. They’re out of preorders too. I really wanted all 3 cone heads, as their designs are actually different enough from the Siege Seekers that I wanted them. Looks like the only one I’ll be able to get is Thrust, and that’s in December.

My nitpicks now that the dust has settled and the official pics are up:

Snap-on wheels are a big drawback to this line, that's one of the big things that probably will have my interest wrapping up soon.

Hot Rod's vehicle mode is missing half the pipes on the doors, the pylons for the spoiler, and the wheels should have gotten larger rather than smaller. All the accessories are nice, but it's hard to see that figure feeling like $30 in hand.

Poor Wheelie is packaged in "don't care how, gotta poop now!" pose. Grimlock is hard to read on size, but I'm guessing voyager-sized. He looks better than the POTP for sure.

Blurr has a lottttt of manface going on, kind of an odd look. The big mailboxes under his arms are so odd because they only serve a decorative function, so they could have been made slimmer or more streamlined and weren't. I don't hate them, but they are an odd choice.

Some clever stuff with Scourge but I'm still passing, I have the last 2 as it is. The vehicle mode redesigns are unusual for Studio Series, there's some good and some bad.

    The backdrops are all fantastic.
