Apparently some folks in the US preordered and then had the preorder cancelled minutes later. I can wait.

Wonder why they went with fold-out robit hands for Grimmy and not push out ones?

After Kingdom and the rest of the SS86, I'm done.
Done done done. A done man I'll be.

Some geezer in the Studio Series 86 thread posted a link to this bloke's art - Blitz-Wing. In amongst the traditional DeviantArt poorly drawn manga ladies there's some very nifty TF redesigns. Take a peep - Blitz-Wing - Hobbyist, Digital Artist | DeviantArt

MP8 Grimlock is supposed to be 23cm in height which makes new grimmy only a half inch smaller? o_O
I still have a MISB MP Grimlock staring at me! ;)
Maybe just to them? Amazon or Smyths perhaps?

    Sigh.

Missed all the preorder mallarky. I want a Thrust and Runamuck but dammit. SO MUCH HASSLE.

I am strictly a casual fan. I miss the days of easy ordering through Orbital.

Completely forgot about Pulse today. And then In Demand Toys sold out of Runabout/Muck/The Black One.

Got a pre-order in @ Comics and Cocktails though!

Mp08 is only in scale in dino mode though. Bot mode is too small. SS86 will be shorter than MP44.

Many thanks to all who provided links and info in this trying time, very much appreciated!
    ...

While IDT might not wanna spend the money on upgrading the site, they're creating a precedent where you spend your money elsewhere. Bad enough, but all-in Comics and SAF are often cheaper and their sites work a lot better. IDT are now way down my list and would be bottom only Kapow never seem to know if/when they'll get Hasbro stock these days?

IDT's site dies at every step. On my mobile at least, clicking 'my account' just plain doesn't work, so I have to watch it die again at the checkout page. You know, before it dies trying to contact PayPal or Amazon. Or after that when I don't even know if the order has gone through (did once and I nearly ordered another because no confirmation).
    ...

So Thrust seems to be Target?

May need to rely on Asian etailers to get Thrust then. :/

My MP08 has been in Dino mode for most of his tenure.... if SS is a decent size in T-Rex mode then I may swap out as I’d love a full set of dinos.

I forgot all about this malarkey today. Think I might want all of the studio86, yeah i am a sucker.

It does seem like all bots with white colour or very pale colours photgraph very poorly so their features look much better in hand than in photos.

ID toys sold out on the runaroundalot guy, but i got him through that link to Comics and Coctails you guys posted above. Thanks!

Where does Thrust belong in all this? He was on kinda, maybe list as i got the first ER seeker two pack (skywarp and Thundercracker) so i kinda felt i got representatives of that mold, but you know.

I also got something in the mail today, but it was deliver to the wrong post office. I wont find out what it is until monday/tuesday.

Hmm... it just occurred to me that I could've preordered Thrust and have it sent to my girlfriend's place in NC.

You are a legend. Thanks for C&C link. I forgot all about today and have just checked the forum.

You are right after shipping comes cheaper on other sites.

Let hope Thrust can hit the UK target!

    (bad pun)

Eh, £36 squids to only complete ONE MM Quartet? And not a new head & chest among 'em? Easy pass. The GOC proves less and less enticing for me.

Likewise that SS'86 Grimlock looks Good but not quite 'Great' enough, gonna sit back and see how this rolls out, Lads. Roll them dice on a toy deco do-over with a sword coming later.

I think, after much further exploration and some possibly entirely pointless little trimmings of seams and potential minimal flash nubbins, it might just be new toy tolerances and an alignment of parts nearly as demanding as T30 Springer's car mode, and the 'knack' might be letting his back end hang a smidge loose overall and not perfectly lining up every seam, and fully depress every tab together...
    DSC_0068.JPG DSC_0069.JPG DSC_0070.JPG DSC_0071.JPG
I may have been too demanding of alignment perfection from a regular retail-ish toy figure perhaps?
It's not that untidy, I may just leave him in car mode for now to see if perhaps his plastic does it's thing and better adjusts to his alternate form.

And Thrust? Well, it's not like we didn't expect a buggeration on that front. Heck, if there's "No UK stock" does that mean Hasbro EU have gone and exclusified him with another retailer that's got outside the UK EU ties still? Eh, we'll see.

Had a note from the Cosmos concerning perspective in the grand scheme of things tonite, got word tonight of the passing of an acquaintance, and closer friend of a friend via that friend, the dancer and fellow occasional actor Dave Toole, who made one heck of a career jump from the Post Office sorting office to the stage and screen. Never mind Ginger Rogers doing it all backwards and in heels, Dave managed it without legs!
If you saw the 2012 Paralympics opening ceremony, you may have watched him literally fly onto the scene (with the aid of a wire, Dave was good but not that good). The world is a much poorer place without him, a remarkable & talented hooman, with good humour (the best kind of dour), a great line in deadpan delivery, and what a dancer!
@nice sideburns and anyone else ginning up, please raise a glass to "What a Toole!", he'd appreciate that, and if he doesn't he'll haunt me about it! :p

Life's too short to stay mad about a bit of plastic, innit?

Sorry to hear about Dave Toole. At least he could fly, though. Not everyone can do that. Just read a bit about him online, v.cool.

Would raise glass but have to read about radiotherapy for the rest of the evening after spending too much time chasing plastic. Virtual Skol anyway! :p
