I like that Bumblebee jet pack - but I wonder if he can stand on it like a hoverboard too ?

Though I have to hope Smyths actually put up the darn things for Pre-order so I can order WFCT wave 2 and not have to sit and look at them never arrive on the online store for more than a day before selling out and never being seen again until I chase them up 2nd hand months later.

That would be kinda annoying for a Key Character like Bumblebee. (and that isn't something I thought i'd ever complain about it is usually To Many Bumblebees not "there isn't easy access to a Bumblebee I'd like" which is what I have here.

The new Allicon Axe looks like it might suit Airwave too - I might buy one just to give him an war axe of his own.

 

Just received the Matrix Workshop Optimus Prime Voyager-sized rifle from TF Safari. The sculpt looks great, but the paint on the back end of the gun was gooey and started rubbing off on my my fingers right out of the bag. I've had it for a week now, and the paint in that area still hasn't set. Maybe this came from a bad batch.

The other weapons I ordered seemed okay, but at this point, I just put them back in the box. Think I'll stick with color-molded weapons from now on.

When I messaged TF Safari about the wet paint, they said, "This is not a major defect. anyway we can resend you a new set later this week."

I told them they didn't have to, that it wasn't a lot of money. But I also wondered why gooey wet paint coming off a custom-painted weapon that they're charging $10 for isn't a "major defect."

That bit of black on my finger is paint that just rubbed off today. I took the pic to show TF Safari that it's been a week and the paint is still coming right off.

BTW, if any customizer want to try to repaint this rifle, just pay me postage and it's yours for free. The other weapons I have I'm willing to sell on the cheap as well; those seem fine and are unused.

 

There's usually connector size issues rather than paint, but I've had some paint issues before: missing paint and paint getting on pegs.

 

I just ordered the set for Selects Hot Shot and i'm psyched to get it. This'll be my first set from them

Is there any review on upgrade kit for Shatter and Nightbird? Can't seem to find any on Youtube...

 

I don't have the Nightbird kit, but I do have Matrix Workshop's kit of extra weapons for Shatter Jet mode.

There's not a whole lot to say, I think they're quite good.
I only really wanted the weapons to fit under Shatter's wings, and they look really nice pegged into the 5mm ports Shatter already has.

Both the missiles, grouped in a cluster of 4, and the rocket launcher tube have a 5mm peg to plug into Shatter. And if you would like Shatter to carry all this armament the rocket launcher can plug into a 5mm port in the side of the missile cluster.

The 5mm port in the side of the missile cluster felt a little tight when mine arrived, so I boiled some water, poured some into a bowl and dropped the missile cluster into the hot water for a few seconds. When the plastic was a little softer I pegged in the rocket launcher and let the whole thing cool.
When the missile cluster was cool the peg hole was the perfect size for me to peg in and unpeg 5mm posts.

The anti-tank gun in this kit has a 5mm peg on a hinge, do it can swing in and out of the gun.
I don't use it, because Shatter isn't a tank killer A-10, she's meant to be a Harrier, but it's a nice gun and would be perfect for Powerglide.

They're really good looking accessories for jet and helicopter Transformers who need a bit of a boost.

Yes! I'm mainly looking for Shatter because the included weapon looks weird if you attach it on her alt mode, so I'll just gonna store it away ;~;

 

Agreed, the included weapons only look good in robot mode. Those alien blasters have no place on Shatter's jet mode.

So I finally decided to get the M-09B upgrade set for Orthia. I wasn't expecting a lot but the actual product did come with a surprise here and there. At this point the number of additional accessories for this combiner alone is overkill but at least the Orthia sized broadsword is welcome.

First, individuals. All are posed with the M-09 set as well.



Of note, I plugged Greenlight's pistol into the bow as a sort of upgrade for an upgrade and Lancer is balancing perfectly on one foot which is one of the fantastic elements of this mold.

Now for why everyone is actually here. I've also provided additional images of the combined form of the M-09.







Pretty cool if you ask me. MW did thought about this set carefully just by how loose the spear is when combined or in Lancer's hand. It's loose enough that it won't get paint scratched. Only the tightest of grips will do it. I only had paint rub off from the swords in the middle connection. I used a hairdryer to heat the plastic to make it more malleable to get it out. Still got paint rub on the handle. No biggie.

Anyone who owns Orthia knows the infin1te blunders of those very "strong" hip ratchets  . I always have a laugh when posing her. So much fun!
