I thinks it's the perfect storm of former kids who grew up with Prime now having disposable income, the renewed interest via the two pack, and the fact that the series is now on netflix. I have my criticisms of the series, but the recent WFC netflix really demonstrates what a high quality show Prime was and is.

I bought prime soundwave for about £12 last year. Great figure.

Also, going back to prices, yeah it's getting silly. Fortunately, I've recently been reflecting on the fact that I'm getting to the point where I'm genuinely satisfied with my collection. I won't stop buying figures, but once I've cherry picked the jucier parts of ss86 and wfc, it's all sweet gravy from there. It's a nice feeling.

My Pit took 4 days I think. Actually may have been 5. So it's accurate, but yeah, the fact people need reminding is poor. But gave you seen the pinned FB post that they keep updating? People can be scary impatient...

Seeing as they're dispatching 'Streak today, I expect they are still running behind since having to push pause on stock deliveries to deal with the Backlog Avalanche.
Me neither. Though I recall my initial skepticism of the ER Wheeljack bod, and falling in love with it in-hand.

'Spartan' is the right adjective though, innit? It's not just that it's the 'Toon deco, it's the 'toon deco in it's most minimal simplified form (omitting the rear wheel fairings' stripes that are on the animation model), I'm only half-joking about an Action Master Jazz homage because it really looks like that's the intent in the design, all they have to do is exactly the same figure and deco apart from blue grey plastic swapping in for the black parts and just add skateboard, hey presto!

If I were a 3P I'd totally be setting to the drawing board to make a black & silver Weaponizer that's basically all the ER G1 deluxe carbods omitted toy-style shoulder weapons (plus mounting rucksack for Jazz) as I can't see Hasbro doing it.
Though I wouldn't put it past them to maybe go full Mini-Masterpiece with him in Selects and do him Centurion Droid style, toy deco with an accessory pack, either with speakers, shoulder launcher grapnel hand, etc., or one or two of his notable extras and some other gear for other G1 bods.

Thanks again for the cool art on the package, don't sell yourself short! Come to think of it that should have been suitably quarantined now for me to take some pics later to share here :)

As for computer specs, I'll try and remember to grab you the specs when I have a free moment :)

:lol :lol :lol  Swerve is a treasure.

What do you expect?! His foot's made of lead!

    SO SAY WE ALL!

I'm just glad I managed to complete my Prime characters I really wanted collection before that :D  though now I feel like I need to track down Knockout...:lol

And now if someone would just make a good Airachnid...

Yeah, I'd seen that. Thank you. I'll be happy to take the knock if it meant getting the set for certain.

Yup, I hear that, had to pull myself away from a non-refundable deposit earlier by reminding myself the item would be on general sale in August lol

Six foot rule! Six foot rule!

Would I be right in thinking you're stickering up your Breakdown/Vehicon? It's Takara from eight years ago, desperately trying to get in with a generation of Japanese kids who were more into model kits and customisation than action figures. They really flubbed their version of Prime, and badly.

This. It's the same thing that happened with Animated a few years ago. There's a sudden resurgence in popularity because the kids are all grown up now. Hell, perhaps there'll be a minor RID rennaissance in a little while.

    (probably not)

    Oh. Yeah.

    20201016_123931.jpg 20201016_123143.jpg

This sexy boy turned up today courtesy of ID. Really great looking figure, and a much needed improvement on my old universe Bluestreak. Bloody Hasbro have well and truly suckered me in on replacing so many CHUG figures, it never ends does it?

As with Smokey, Bluestreak's translucent knee joints terrify me, I can see them breaking very easily.

Also had the ARC troopers pack through from SAF. 2 hard to get, blink and miss them, exclusives through in one day. Let's hope I'm as lucky when Thrust and Runabout drop online for all of 17 seconds...

I too looked up TF Prime figures on Ebay and saw that completed listings sold for a pretty hefty mark up! Ebay can be a little too much to faff about with sometimes so I was more than pleased to sell on my MISB/MOSC TF Prime duplicates to fellow members right here in the UK thread! :D :thumb
Same for me but I paid in full for the TF Prime set and at the time I didn't realise they offered free shipping so that was a bonus.
Their listing says due Oct but I think IDT/Kapow say Nov so I guess the wait continues. ;)

I watched Overlord the other night which was good and also watched Extra Ordinary which I loved - great to see Will Forte again as I loved him in Last Man On Earth!
Thanks for those recommendations folks! :thumb

I'm hoping Stranger Things, The Umbrella Academy or The Mandalorian comes back on this year - need a new show to fill my evenings with. :)

Ooh by the way, grab a bargain whilst your passing.... ;)
